I used to clean my blackstone due to rust spots. This block helped get all the rust off and my top is like new. I would recommend for anyone looking to clean up there blackstone or flat top.

I've used pumice stones before for cleaning my barbecue, and this one is pretty similar to others.It works just as good as other ones I've used however, this on is much larger (3 1/2" x 4" x 8") which is good and bad.The good part is it cleans several gill bars at a time due to larger size.The bad part is depending on your grill, it might not be able to get into the back or sides of your barbecue.The pumice is fairly coarse and doesn't appear to break down as fast as small stones I've used, so it should last a bit longer.And, like any grill cleaning tool that is not wire brush design, it won't get down in between your gill bars. Only a wire brush style will. Still, it cleans the surface area quite well, and once there are some grooves worn into the stone, it will clean partially on the side. In my case, I have a Weber Summit, which has round grill bars. After using the pumice stone several times to wear some grooves into it, I can clean almost halfway down the sides of my grill bars.And like any other pumice stone, you need to go back after cleaning and wipe off residual stone dust, unless you like extra crunch in you food. Likewise, a lot of stone particles will fall down into the bottom of your grill.
