If you are going to play long periods of time, you'll want to add thumb pads and a grip. This grip makes the device feel like a controller. Don't worry about brand names, yes price does change like 1$ to 2$ but they are all the same. Color is what mattersOK side note, i got a plastic case that has a small grip. The one that one was made they were not thinking about. Protection wise, that one in ways is better... but doesn't consider over heating..VsThis one, how it drops it'll provide more or less protection (the top has non you slide the device in) but this is much better for temperature so you should get better performance from the device.

I have a thin clear case on my switch lite and this will not fit on my device. It's made of a very thin and cheep plastic that will break easily. There is nothing comfortable about this holder, no soft grips or anything that assists in using my switch lite. Definitely not worth the investment.

My grandkiddos were very happy to try this out when it arrived. It improves their ability to comfortably hold their Switch Lite while gaming since it elongates the grip.
