The drawstring will break before you the shoe is worn out, but they are indestructible and comfortable. My son will only wear these and they keep him warm in Wisconsin weather. They are not his shoes to play in the snow, but walking on ice, packed snow, etc. he is warm and toasty and they never look like he needs a new pair of shoes even after months of boy use.

Shoes seem to be holding up.

It's really disappointing that a brand like KEEN is lacking in quality like this. The yellow KEEN design on the insoles leak color onto the socks! Every pair of socks is now yellow on the bottom.

We purchased these shoes specifically because the pictures showed the drawstring style laces which my kids love. Unfortunately when we received the shoes neither set had the drawstring laces but instead just regular laces.At least Amazon returns was easy.

We love Keens for the wide foot bed and durability.These have a Narrow toe rather than the usual wide Keen toe.Be aware when buying.

I bought these shoes for my grandson. He loves them. They fit great. I was impressed with the care and condition of packaging when it arrived.
