If you work with kids! Or in sports or both then I seriously reccomend!! I use this for coaching water sports and the kids/adults can hear this clearly from very far away!!!Just put your fingers in your ears if you really want to test the limit on these things!!!!!!!

Excellent whistles. Daughter borrowed one for her duke of Edinburgh expidtion, as a nervous dad I felt happier know that if she got in trouble she had something that could split ear drums to call for help.

I have purchased a dozen or so of these whistles over the past year or so for use by the trainers at our dog club. They are lightweight, tuff and not easily mislaid! They are also very loud so mind your ear drums.

The whistle has a much higher pitch than imagined and consequently didn't seem to travel in outdoor spaces so well. The fact that it only produces any sound when given a 'full puff' also means it's fairly uncomfortable on the users own ears.

Have used the Acme Tornado for years when coaching/refereeing etc.Incredibly loud and don't rely on a ball inside the whistle.Does the job nicely.

Great for cyclists.If anyone doesn't hear your bell they will most certainly hear this powerful whistle.I keep mine on a land yard round my neck so is easy to use.
