Brilliant little stove

8 inches tall and folds flat
This is a handy little outdoor woodstove.8 inches tall and about 5 inches square when opened. You can fold it flat so its an ideal emergency stove for outdoors and it comes in a zipped bag. While it looks quite snazzy with its blue, that is just the protective plastic which can be peeled off.We left it on, there weren't any funny smells and it didn't burst into flames or anything. The listing states that it is made of hardened titanium but it is as magnetic as any of our steel tent pegs so not sure about that. There are vent holes to two sides, low down ,to allow air in for the fire to keep going.A space at the back for the same. The ash pan is just a piece of steel slid in at the bottom but it does contain the ash till pulled out.You can put sticks etc on the fold down slatted wire shelf .Best to add some paper first to stop your kindling falling through the gaps. The door flaps open to add more and you can leave it open for air flow and to allow adding more fuel. There is a twist catch to keep the door closed. On top is a small, wire-mesh piece that you push in loosely to take your pans or grub.Good pointsIt is stable providing the pans are not a lot bigger and heavier than the stove. It has lifting handles front and backIt folds into the case easily, you cant forget how it foldsYou could use it with those little fuel blocks under the bottom rack and small food pots on the rackNo need for gas or liquid fuelsOtherA little heavy for its size so probably not a backpackers first choiceFor the price (14.99 at present) I think it is a good buy.

To small
Way to small. You'd probably get 2 sausages on it or 1 burger at a time. I didn't even use it. I couldn't bring that to the campsite, I'd be kicked out by fellow campers or they'd be asking serious questions about where my life is going

Great midi fire stove
Can’t fault it! Easy to set up and put away. Does exactly what we brought it for, cooking and keeping us warm on camping nights.

well thought out wood/twig stove
The media could not be loaded. The hinges makes unfolding and setting this wood/twig burner up so easy, no more puzzles and sharp sliding bits to try to fit together, getting this stove ready is so easy and quick (see video). The size is perfect for 1 or 2 people (this is not a bbq but a camping stove), managed my 2 person pan and cup no problem, also it was very stable and secure. All fits into a bag that keeps the dirty stove away from your other items. These stoves are becoming the recommended way of building a fire when out camping in the wild, it safe and keeps the hot ashes off the ground (so no more scorched earth marks around wild camping spots).Light weight when you factor in no need to carry fuel (just pick up some wood from the woods).
