I started using this because I was having terrible dark spots / sun spots on my face. Within a couple of weeks of use my skin was noticeably clearer. Will be buying again!

TRUE C E Ferulic serum has a funky smell, often described as "hot dog water" or "metallic":The smell comes from ferulic acid, which oxidizes quickly, esp if the serum is stored in a dropper bottle. The smell goes away once absorbed into the skin. The serum is light and slightly sticky. The stickiness goes away as well but may leave a little residue as it dries. I'm 63 and after using CE Ferulic for about 6 months now, my skin tone looks younger, even and brighter. It feels more feels plumped. I swear it "SPANX" for the face. I'll never stop using it. I used to use the high dollar skin-sue-ticals (spelled wrong on purpose) but the price is insane. This is my go to now. I ordered three different brands last week and this one was the winner... it's closer to the $182 bottle. BUY IT!

I have been trying to find some products to get all the benefits of the vitamin C E and ferulic acid combination. I have heard that vitamin E makes vitamin C more effective, and that ferulic acid makes them both more effective.So this serum looks to me like it has all the ingredients I'm looking for plus some other good ones. I researched each ingredient and didn't find anything that looked freaky.I tried a different brand first, and it was twice the price of this one, made my face very sticky and shiny, and had the hot dog water scent I hear people mention sometimes.That one also was slightly yellow/orange which I guess means that it could be oxidized already.I ordered that one directly from the company too, not from Amazon.Well, next I tried this serum because it was cheaper and had a lower percentage of vitamin C, which I thought might make it less shiny.I have used this serum once and loved it! I am returning the other serum today.This one does not leave my face nearly as sticky or shiny. The serum has no scent, and also comes out completely clear. And for half of the price of the last serum I tried! My skin already looks better too!

I've been using Vitamin C Face Serum for 7 days twice a day. Therefore, it's too early to give 5 Stars yet. Lately, I noticed dark brown spots shown on both cheeks. I've used an expensive Serum for years, but it didn't help with "dark brown spot correction." I started searching Amazon reviews and found most of reviews atisfactory." I'm pleased with this product, which I think works in lightening the dark brown spots even 7 days application, along with its reasonable price. It stays my skin moist and soft all day. Hopefully, in time it works "dark spot correction" as stated. I will buy it again.

Timely delivery. Well packaged. Product goes on smooth and feels good. Just started using, so can’t say how well it works, yet. But is definitely a quality product.

I am on my second bottle of this product. I really like it because it makes my skin feel soft and smooth and it looks brighter. It goes on easily and it’s not sticky or too thick. It seems to absorb into my skin quickly. I will be buying another bottle of this after I am out again.

Edit: I already left a review but I was contacted by the company asking again for input, so. Im about 1.5 weeks into using this product. It has a very long-lasting hot dog water metallic smell. The company messaged me to say that this is due to the high concentration of vitamin c. I've used other concentrated vitamin c serum that DONT smell, though. So either, it's oxidized, or it's the ferullic acid that's oxidized and smelly. That being said, my skin is fine. It's not overly drying or irritating. I havent noticed much of a change in skin tone, but that should really take 4+ weeks to be noticeable.The packaging was secure and light-proof. I transferred to an airless pump bottle immediately after opening to reduce exposure to air that it would have in the dropper bottle. The product does have a metallic odor... in vitamin c serum without ferulic acid, this would be a sign that the product is oxidized and less potent. However, with ferulic acid, ideally that would oxidize rather than the vitamin c, so difficult to say how much the product was already oxidized before I opened it. I'll update the review once I see any effects in a few weeks.
