Bought for my 81yr old Mum
After breaking part of hip joint obviously had trouble getting in and out of the bath. She only showers anyway. After getting quotes on changing the bath for a shower base etc, replacing tiles. This was the cheapest option and works perfectly. She feels safe and free to continue with her independence. You know how Mums are

OK could be better finish
The media could not be loaded. Unpack to ensure all the items are there; we found this locking pin (photo 4) missing from the leg but was in the bottom of the box. While it is intuitive as to how to construct this bathchair it is worth following the instructions. Given it was for the mother-in-law my partner was supervising the build so the instructions were to hand! And to be fair this did help.A couple of points that could have been better. The plastic grommets were left with protruding rough edges that prevented the legs from being inserted into their relevant position. Not a big job but take a knife to cut these rough bits off before you start. While the base of the seat feels sturdy the armrest is a bit wobbly. Given this is for use by someone who is already a bit infirm this wobble could be a bit disconcerting.Overall it is ideal for the job it is designed to do, though the suckers that fit into the bath are a bit large and push the whole seat further away from the bath.It is very lightweight so can be put into place and taken out of the bathroom very easily. Plus the push connectors with spring-loaded locking bolts mean the legs and arms can easily be removed to reconfigure the seat or to store away when not in use.As the product page states, so ensure your bath is low enough for this device to fit over.

I didn't get to see this seat being built,my husband measured the height off the bath -floor before hand,as the description states, even with the legs fully extended it still short by 2 "inch,so have had to add risers.

check position of your bath taps before ordering
PEPE - Bath Transfer Bench for Disabled with Padded ArmrestI ordered this for my husband who requires a knee replacement operation, but it turns out I have the wrong style of bathtub as the taps are in the middle of the bath and so you cant position the seat in such a way as to swivel your legs into the tub.It also appears that my bath is too tall (I hadn't realised bathtubs were different heights until now) so that was my own fault. I then thought to utilised the seat in the shower but its too big to fit with the armrest attached. I can get the seat in the shower, just, but its a tight fit and I'm not convinced the hubby will be able to manoeuvre after an operation to get on it. Having said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the seat itself and it was pretty easy to put together. I followed the picture on the box as the written instructions on the sheet included were far too small for me to read. The legs are adjustable and click into place securely. The seat itself has no padding and neither does the backrest but it is wipe clean. The suction cups on the base of the legs is very powerful, as I discovered when trying to manoeuvre it! I shall be gifting this to my next door neighbour who is 94 and recently had a fall so it wont go to waste.

safe and comfortable way to assist their loved ones with bathing
This bench has been a lifesaver for me and my family as it has made bathing much easier and safer for my elderly mother. The bench is designed with ergonomics in mind, providing excellent support and comfort for the user. The padded armrests are a great addition, providing additional support for my mother as she transfers in and out of the tub. The bench is also very sturdy and can support up to 300 pounds, which is great for larger individuals. The assembly process was simple and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bench is also very easy to clean, making it a great addition to any bathroom. One of the things I appreciate most about this bench is its versatility. It can be used for a variety of activities, from showering to shaving and even relaxation. The modern design also makes it a stylish addition to any bathroom.

Legs too short
This is a good idea but the legs need to be a lot longer. Won't fit most baths.
