A really nice double tone bowl. Not sacral chakra as advertised but heart chakra (with mallet) and root chakra (with puja stick) There is a good weight to the bowl with the sides not too thin alowing for a deeper tone. Really happy with the bowl for the price and took about a week to get from India to the UK. A good quality puja is supplied along with a medium quality mallet and ring cushion.Will use seller again.

Now I do not confess to know exactly what chakra note this bowl is tuned to. It does produce a very deep, rich sound and comes with a quality gong and a suede covered tool to rim around the edge of the bowl. The small cushion is to small for such a heavy bowl but you can easily use a bigger cushion to sit the bowl on when playing it. If you can`t get a sound around the edge of the bowl then you can use the gong to chime the bowl. It is a great bowl and has ornamental appeal also.

I am in love with this big beautiful bowl!! It arrived much earlier than promised (only a few days after I ordered it, which was abut a month earlier than expected) and is exactly as described by the seller. To my surprise and delight, the package contained not only the bowl, the 2 promised mallets and the lovely cushion (red and square, not round and yellow), but also the chimes that are shown in the product photos. Most of the reviews had said these were not included, so I was not expecting them. That really made me smile.This being my first singing bowl ever, it took me a few hours to figure out how to make it sing (lots of reading and a little experimentation), but now it starts to sing on the first stroke...almost as if it knows me and is eager to perform for me :-) When the rim is stroked slowly and firmly, the bowl sings a very low D, as it should for the sacral chakra. My husband says it is so low he can't hear it, but I certainly can, and I can feel it vibrate through my bones, which is great. When the side of the bell is struck with the leather-covered mallet, it rings out a lovely A, and when you strike it with the wooden handle of the mallet you get a third tone also, so I can make some really nice music with it. The sound vibrations last for a *very* long time.I bought this bowl to satisfy my own curiosity and desire to learn how to play such an instrument, but also so that I could use it at the beginning and end of the yoga classes I teach. I was worried about getting a jarring sound or a high note that would disturb my students, so I really deliberated over which product and size of bowl to order. This was one of the more economical choices, so I was half expecting it to be of poor quality, but thankfully that was not the case. The quality of everything in the package is superb. I am so glad that I decided on this particular product and this seller. I couldn't be happier!

I read many of the reviews before I bought this bowl, it came very well packaged. The mallets are both good. It looks lovely. When I first got it I watched YouTube videos to see how to use it, this is worth doing as some suggest that there are spiritual aspects to the bowls and so before I used it I cleansed it with sage, particularly as it had probably been handled by many other people. When I first started using it I had to close my eyes to relax enough to make it sing. I use it most days now even if it is just for a short burst to help me feel balanced. It has a deep sound but it does tune to your moods sometimes it is loud, sometimes it hums deeply. I always thank the bowl for singing after each use, it is a beautiful bowl.

Difficult to get a sound out at first but gave it a cleanup, got a beautiful note out of it.Delivery was great, came much quicker than it said.Just one small thing it, showed a carry case in picture but I never got it.Wife is happy with it that’s what matters

Nice set with long lasting tones. It would have been nice and practical if the storage box in the pictures came included. Looks like a shiny new product but, will probably get its patina over time.

I already own a 3 inch singing bowl but this is a whole different level. When struck with the mallet it hums for about 10 seconds and sounds truly amazing. I will enjoy using this bowl for the rest of my life.

Beautiful item and does exactly what it's supposed to. Soothing tones.
