To be used with a right sided shower ONLY.
They don’t tell you this in the description, but the mechanism to swivel the chair is on the right hand side. That means if your shower is on the left hand side, you have to reach ACROSS the person sitting on it, and bend down to be able to pull the mechanism for it to swivel. This wouldn’t be a problem if your shower is on the right hand side, but if it’s on the left (like mine), it’s VERY INCONVENIENT.However, very easy to put together and very sturdy. We liked the ability to swivel, but it was just on the WRONG SIDE for us, and there is no way to alter the side. Had to return.
