Solar Filigree Table Light - White

I loved mine so much, I bought one as a gift for someone. I had mine on the outside table and just loved the patterns it made. They also last a really long time

This item finally arrived!just in time for the date given although had it missed this post would not have.I was influenced by all the good reviews and went ahead with the order.It arrived in a very battered box so Isuppose I'm lucky in that it was intact.Idid not find it particularly easy to switch on as you don't have the off/on clearly marked so its a bit hit and miss as the terminals DO NOT light up to tell you.Until I've actually seen it working I cannot speak for how good it can look but I'm hopeful.Update, I have now seen it working -it lights up well and stays lit up for a long time and the colours are pleasant to look at sort of 'soft focus' whilst I am still not keen on the container I have been won over by the light feature and when Summer eventually arrives this will be a nice addition to my garden.Therefore I have amended the stars to 4 as I feel it does deserve an extra one now I've seen it working.

I had previously seen these in garden centres for nearly £20 so it seemed like a bit of a steal for £8.85.The first one arrived dead on arrival which was disappointing but as usual Amazon replaced it without fuss and the second one works just fine. I'm surprised at how bright it is, it really does look good throwing a nice pattern onto our Garden Table. The choice of also being able to switch from white light to colour changing is nice too. It does dim noticeably after about 4 hrs use but still keeps going for 6hrs or so in total.The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the construction looks a bit slipshod with bits of stray glue on the solar panel detracting a bit from it being perfect - but at this price that's to be expected.

The bowls are light ceramic but not glass. They are open are the bottom so you don't need to worry about water pooling inside them. They vary in intensity as well as in colour. The colours appear to be generated in a random order. I have two of them an late evening and seem to start with a colour at random, not the same one. So mostly they are not in sync with each other.I did notice one very early morning (about 3.30pm on 1 June 2014) as I admired them out of my bedroom window that they were in synchrony for at least five colour changes. Both deep red changing to deep blue then green the yellow together at the same time. I don't know what the mathematical probability of that happening is, but it can't be all that low if I saw it happen.Overall I'm really please with these lights and they accompany the Solar Mosaic Round Jar that I have had from the same company rather nicely.

Received light on time,but when I opened it I noticed that one of the bulbs was rather wonky and when we charged it it did not work.after a while I noticed that there was a green tab sticking out which I pulled but nothing happened,it still did not work.The next step was to undo the two screws only to find that the green tab needed to be removed in order for the battery to make contact. We charged it again and guess what it still did not work so we looked under the little solar panel and found that one wires was not soldered on,so my partner resoldvered it and lo and behold it now WORKS,Horray!!!!It has been quite a traumatic time but at last it is working and looks very nice too.I just hope that if you buy one you don't have to go through all what we went through.

I bought 2 of these solar candles from seller Trendi based on the good reviews here. Sadly, the first one had a big chunk missing out of the ceramic, and neither of the candles (including the replacement) had the fixed-white light option as listed in the original description by Trendi. I took off the panel and there is just one bulb with a 2-way switch - on and off. The ones with two light options apparently have a 3-way switch so you can choose which light you want. As I bought these for the white option, I'm very disappointed as I already have colour-changing lights and wanted the candles with the fixed white light. I see that Trendi are not stocking these anymore and the current seller has listed 2 lighting options in the description. CHECK that they have both lighting options before you buy.

I was a bit disappointed when these arrived (I ordered2) they looked a bit cheap and I didn't like the look of the black solar strip on the top of the pot. However, they looked lovely when they lit up. They give a really nice glow once it had turned dark. I was going to send the other one back but after seeing first one lit up at night I have decided to keep them both. I got them when they were on a special price but I certainly would not of paid top price for them.

I ordered 2 of these to put on my patio. One works fine and changes colour but the other one only shows a white light and the nasty cheap solar fitment that lifts out wont stay in one piece. I wanted to return the light but find that only £8.09 of the return postage will be refunded. I had the lights delivered to Spain and it would cost more than that to return to the UK. More than the light is worth in fact. So I will probably not bother. Shame as Gardman products are usually very good.
