I needed a new thermometer after i broke my old one and after countless of hours reading through reviews, I decided on this one due to the looks & reliability. My old thermometer lasted me two years so I'm hoping this one will last just as long or longer. It has been two months since I purchased this product and I've been using it daily. So far I have not had to re-calibrate it and it still looks brand new. 5/5 stars

Okay, it's a little cheap feeling and some wear is showing on the buttons after some use. But it registers temperature quickly, seems accurate, the cover is cool, and for the price I'd get it again.

Comes with a battery! I use this for work and it's been great to check the temps for foods! I purchased the 4.5" and it's huge!Pro's:-Color is a nice bright red, easy to see around the workplace or at home.-Accurate with fast temp reading-Nice little cap to protect the thermometer (it also clicks on the back of the thermometer)-Had a nice clip to stick to your apron/pants/ etcCon's:-None that I can see so far!

I wanted an accurate low cost thermometer and this meets those expectations. It came with a battery already installed and is easy to operate and read. Nice easy-to-read display and it displays the temperature immediately.I used this new thermometer for hamburgers on our new grill yesterday evening. Being a new grill and given my habit of having my burgers a bit overdone, this thermometer made it easy to grill burgers without turning them into chunks of charcoal. It was pretty neat to check the differences in temperatures between the center and outside edges of the burgers.Great value! I should have bought one of these years ago.

Works great - just takes a little time to get an accurate temp read. Not a "Quick Read" but pretty close - good for the money.
