Good Practice for Motor Skills
My mom specializes in early childhood education and development so when shopping for toys for the kids, I'm conditioned to get things that are not only fun but also have some educational benefit. This leads us to seek a lot of things that are specifically labeled as STEM and Montessori toys. I really like this lock set for the kids. The boys are 2, 3, and 6 and they all have fun with these. The locks encourage some critical thinking and problem solving as some of the keys are color coded to match the locks while others are not. It's also great for working on their fine motor skills and dexterity. For the oldest, he can become impatient at times so these locks are truly an exercise in patience for him. It's been helpful for him to actually get some small chests and lockboxes to fill with prizes and attach the locks to them. The toy is also great because it teaches a common and realistic life skill, just think of how often you have to lock or unlock something every day.

Good for toddlers
My almost 2 LO loves it... it is a nit challenging and requires guidanxe but it is a good practice for their little hands

Nice product
Nice product but there are small pieces! Keys are very small so not good when you have kids who put everything in their mouth

Not sure yet
I knew quality was an issue from reading other reviews, and I will say that these are not the locks you want to keep on something important. They feel very cheap. Some of them are better, like the bear. Some of them are just more difficult. I can't decide if I want to keep them to teach that not all locks will act the same when they're unlocked (as in some of the locks pop open, and others you don't know if you unlocked until you pull on it.) Kind of expensive for how cheap they are. I think you can do better, but these are good in a pinch. Will update later if we keep them and they fall apart. Purchased for my 4 year old.

A great toy
Although i thought the keys came onto the board glued on. they come all separately, it’s a good toy to keep a child entertained and challenge them
