Just perfect.
Works splendidly!

Great servo
Servo is great, but the metal servo arm is very hard to put on and once you do get it pressed on the holes are too big for the scx 24 steering link.

Mount is for "Y" Upper Link.
The EMax servo is a work horse. Definitely a must for SCX24 upgrades. The mount is aluminum as stated. But it will only work for the "Y" front upper link. Where the bottom of the Y connects to the mount. It's only threaded on one side. And the threaded wholes on the steering servo horne are to big for SCX24 screws. Had to buy different steering horne. Just get the bracket and steering horne kit made by Injora. The picture I added is from the ad. The picture is wrong. Or they're flat out lying. All 3 wholes are the same size and to big. That's why all the sample pictures show the white plastic steering arms being used.

Servo Arm Doesn't Fit
Good product but servo arm doesn't fit properly (you have to force it in to get it to sit right) and the screw holes are too big for the SCX24 screws to go in to. Had to buy a separate servo arm that fits both the servo and the screws.

Good replacement
Nice and small size for compact builds or light builds. I put this in my custom 1:12 rc truck and it works perfectly. Didn't need a giant 35kg servo, this mini has plenty of power for smaller/lighter builds. Digital not analog so it has a quick response, very low latency. Waterproof also, just a very nice budget servo for many different builds.

Great set just needs different horn
This is a great kit that went together easily. Not having to cut the stock servo tray made this a simple swap. I was disappointed in the included aluminum servo horn- the threads for the drag link bar are way too big to use the stock steering. I ended up using one of the plastic horns from the servo box instead (I still need to adjust it up 1 hole place)The servo has a lot more power for turning heavier wheels and brass knuckles! Super happy about that

Great Little Servo!
I like this servo. It is a fine example of you get what you pay for. Yes, you can get multiple servos of this size for the same price, however, you won't get the quality.I have seen multiple comments about problems with the metal arm. It is tight and that is probably due to the enamel paint. I found it was much easier to use by putting a little dab of lithium grease on the horn and then pushing in with fingers to make sure the sprockets are aligned and then using a jewelers watch hammer to give just enough persuasion to get to about a 1/3rd of the way then inserting the screw and using it will get it to slide right into position.

The One, The Only, the EMAX Servos! Kings of the 1/24
Ok so maybe my headline was a bit much but that's what it feels like. Ask any 1/24 forums, especially for axial scx24, and ask what is the best bang for the buck steering servo upgrade and 99 out of 100 times you will hear the EMAX series. Now this is the EMAX ES08MD II not to be confused with the EMAX ES08MA II. The difference being the MD (this one) is a digital servo while the MA (other one) is Analog. Hence the D and the A, Genius right?! Anywho, in my research and at this scale there really is not any measurable or feelable difference. You'd be fine going with either one. The nice thing about this one over the other one is you get a servo mount with this one that you don't get in the other unit. Yes, it will fit the stock tray but will be very snug which honestly helps make sure it stays put!Make sure you have a good steering horn for it as I wasn't able to use the factory piece. Luckily, this servo ships with some options for servo horns depending on your application. I chose the standard servo horn for remote control land vehicles and just shaved off a bit to get rid of the excess. Your mileage may vary. The servo performed very well for me and I'm sure it will for you as well. Do not hesitate if you have your eye on this as it is a great upgrade! I hope I was able to help make your decision. Be Well.
