They are fairly easy to use. Only difficulty was lining up the prongs to the pads on the strips. I’m putting 5 amps through them and their working fine

I purchased these connectors for my 6 pin LED strip lighting and they worked like a champ!! I’m very proficient at soldering but I could not imagine stripping six 22 awg wire fluxing and tinning each one, doing the same for the six pads on the LED strip and soldering each one individually in tight spots….heck no! I gave these a shot and it helped out immensely!!!One side of the connector is for the wiring and there’s six barrels for the six wires. You stuff the wires in the barrel until they’re bottomed out and you push down and the teeth inside prices the wiring and two side notches on the connector body locks it down. For the LED side there are teeth that bite into the copper pads so it’s a little bit trickier.I started by cutting my LED strip copper pads down the middle as well as you can. Some of my cuts were off and I had a little bit of pad to work with but I still made it work. The key is to line it up on the pads as best as you can, put a little pressure on the top portion of the connector so that the teeth can make a slight imprint on the pads without clamping it shut. This allows you to adjust where your teeth fall on the pads without completely close the top half. Once you are satisfied with your position, clamp it down gently with some pliers and you should be good to go. I had 10 connectors and I did all 10 without any rework.I strung out 32 feet of LED with these connectors and I have no issues. Now if one accidentally closes on you (happened to me) or if you have to rework one, I used the small screwdriver included in the kit and pressed in the locking features on the side as best as I could and used the little screwdriver to pry the connector open. Highly recommend!

I got these because I got my kids led stood for their rooms and needed to relocate the controller so it could power the lights. It comes with all the necessary hardware(though I wish it included more wiring) to extend the strip wand relocate the controller close to the floor. Definitely will consider buying again if I need to do similar for other projects.

After struggling with these connectors for hours, I have decided to do solder connections, which will be very difficult on such small contacts. Disappointing purchase. Would not recommend. Even if you can get them to work, it takes multiple attempts, and the connection is iffy at best.UPDATE 1/4/23: Was given a full refund by the seller, without having to ask, for the reasons described above. For this reason, I raised the review from 1 for product to 5 for service for average of 3 overall.

I used these for my first ever LED lighting project, and it turns out connecting the wires and strips was actually the easiest part of the whole thing. Getting the protective peel off the adhesive on the LED strips... that's a different story. Seriously, though, these were super easy to use. My only advice if you're using aluminum channel with your strip lights is to make sure it's wide enough. These connectors didn't quite fit, but that ended up not being a problem for my set up. I could see it being an issue for someone else, though, and these are just slightly too wide for a 12mm wide channel.
