Not great for young babies
U less you want to be sticking your hand down into the trash can every time you have a dirty diaper, I don’t recommend for newborns. I called the company because this is what I had to do for my baby and they told me this is normal because diapers are too light to fall thru the top mechanisms. I am hoping that when baby gets past the theee month marker and is producing heavier diapers then this will work. It gets 5 stars on the smell aspect. We fill this trash can over 4-5 days and never do we smell the dirty diapers-great for this.
