Great buoyancy, keeps the child’s face above the water, comfortable
Purchased this for our granddaughter, she’s a small 2 1/2 year old, and the small fits great. She loves that she can “swim” but stay afloat. It helps her practice kicking her feet and paddling. The vest wears well, and dries pretty quickly when hung out to dry. The colors stay vibrant, too.

Great for toddlers who are too small for puddle jumpers
My almost 2.5 year old is a peanut and only weighs 26lbs, meaning he’s too small for the USCG certified puddle jumpers for kids 33-55lbs. However, when he’s in the pool he wants more flexibility to play, swim, and move. His infant life vest is too restrictive so this is a great option. Just keep in mind it is not USCG certified so should only be used in calm water (like a pool) and it could NOT be used on a boat or any watercraft.

Chin piece is ineffective!
I got this for my four year old with Down syndrome. She loves being in the water and has outgrown the baby floaties, but needs lots of support in the pool. I chose this one for the chin floatie that would help her keep her face out of the water, but it’s entirely ineffective. One, it attaches too loosely, so it floats in front of her face instead of under her chin. I might be able to fix that by sewing some Velcro further back on the shoulders. Two, it doesn’t feel like it will support any weight. Even when I held it right under her chin, it seemed like the weight of her head could push it underwater too easily, and thus also her face. I was holding it in place, though, so hard to tell. The vest itself is nice and trim, buoyant enough while also making it comfortable to hold her. However, she’s not skilled enough yet to maintain or adjust body position in the water, and without that chin piece, this doesn’t work for us right now. We’re using a puddle jumper I bought at Walmart instead. It did not work for us last year, but this year, it’s providing the right amount of buoyancy and uprightness, and she even surprised me by actually moving herself through the water… swimming! It could be that this vest is a next year thing, too, once she gains more skill at managing herself in the water. We’ll see.

This just fits my three year old son
My son is pretty average sized, the package says 3-5, but this just fits him. It will only fit for one season, but hopefully he will learn to swim quickly

Great for sinking
If you are trying to teach your toddler to sink to the bottom then this is the product for you! I put a few paper straws in his hand instead and they held him up better than this vest.

Kids loved it.
Children are 2 and 3 both loved it , very comfortable for extended wearing around the pool . Chin strap is a little floppy but works .

Great in theory. Next time I’ll just get a life vest
This didn’t work for my daughter. The product would just float up on her and give wedgie. Didn’t help keep her upright and she’s about 27lb and 36in. It needs a strap around middle to adjust.

Ok life jacket
Life jacket is ok but the removable chin piece doesn’t work as planned. It seems to get in the way of my grandkids faces rather than keeping their chins up.
