I'd rate these frames 10-STARS if I could. They are very nice budget-friendly frames. They are exactly as described and they, quite honestly, exceeded my expectations. They look nice, they're very sturdy for plastic frames and I was super impressed by the superior quality of the frame's hardware. Each frame is individually wrapped. The careful packaging and plastic film over BOTH SIDES of the plexiglass helps prevent damage during transit so you can receive a damage free product.***NOTE: ANYONE READING THIS, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FILM ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PLEXIGLASS BECAUSE IT SHOULD BE REMOVED.**** The film isn't really noticeable but IT IS THERE and not removing it could cause the pane to "appear" scratched or blemished when the blemishes are actually on the film instead of the pane of plexiglass. Also, be careful with it after removing the film because it can be easily scratched. I'd advise using a very soft microfiber cloth when it needs cleaning. ***Back to my review... although I wish the width of the opening in the mat was ⅜" smaller so my 5½" x 8½" sheets of art paper would slightly overlap the width of the mat opening, it does fit just at/inside the opening and it does overlap perfectly at the top and bottom of the mat opening. It definitely fits close enough that it still worked out perfectly for adding a nice presentation for when I gift my art. I drew the portrait of my friend to give her as a surprise gift and I spent MANY, MANY, HOURS shopping for custom mats and frames which CAN BE RATHER EXPENSIVE (cha-ching!)! In fact, one customized mat, and ONLY THE MAT, at a company that specializes in custom frames cost almost as much as the entire 5-pk of frames with mats included! (Thanks @American Flat for a really great deal and saving me money!) I knew the mat opening dimensions for these frames wouldn't be exactly what I'd been looking for but they were soooooo very close, extremely affordable, and as you can see in my review photos, my art fits pretty well and the fact that my 8½"x5½" art doesn't overlap the sides of the mat is barely noticeable. If it really bothered me, I could get or make another mat but I'm fine with it the way it is. It definitely solved my dilemma of finding a frame. I wish I'd found these before I spent many hours shopping around. It would've saved me so much time. At least I saved money buying these. Now I just hope the price doesn't increase so I can afford to buy more as needed.Although it's probably obvious (LOL!), I would like to add that I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST. It's just a hobby for me but now that I've discovered these frames, I may start giving some of my drawings a more professional look instead of keeping them hidden away in a binder. I may even make my own mats so I can use these 9"x12" frames to frame multiple 4"x6" or 3"x4" printed photos.To wrap up my review... if you need affordable frames that look good, at just over $2 each you can't go wrong with these! If by chance you need or want glass panes instead of plexiglass, this company sells frames with shatterproof glass but at a higher price. You may even be able to get glass panes cut to fit somewhere like at a craft store that makes custom frames. In my honest opinion, these frames are VERY MUCH worth the price! When you handle these things, you can tell they’re a little bit cheap and flimsy.But how often do people go around touching your photos on the walls??They look great! And because they’re lightweight and ‘cheap,’ they’re actually very easy to hang.

All frames are easy to hang with plenty of tabs to keep portraits secure and they look great as well. Wonderful for the price!

These frames are the perfect size for the project I had for them and the outter frame quality (the black portions) seem nice and sturdy and are all even in dimension without warp or error in design.The clear covering (glass imitator) is perhaps the lowest quality portion of these frames but that doesn’t ruin the product by any means. The clear thin plastic just can’t reflect light as well and as clear as glass could. This will give a warping or bending effect of light when reflecting on the picture.The locking mechanisms or the back are more than abundant perhaps too many but at least you know your picture is pressed and locked tight and not going anywhere.FINAL REVIEW4/5 Stars

The media could not be loaded.  They're a little oversized & the front is not glass but a very thin sheet of plexiglass that has peel off plastic on BOTH sides! But u must be quite careful dusting as they will scratch VERY EASILY! I like these mixed with my more ornate frames & antique & they're perfect for prints from a book! The matte is beveled but I use the unbeveled side because its ivory & looks better with the prints of western painters. They are practically weightless & they come packaged so well that they arrive in pristeen condition. They can be easily hung vertically or horizontally & sit flat against the wall& they are nice looking.

I recommend these, with a caveat.I got these in a 5-pack so great value, and they do look well on the wall but the advantage of being lightweight is that don't seem that sturdy - time will tell but it seems like some level of careful handling or displaying them propped up by the fold out hinges rather than hanging on a wall (with the frame tension that creates) may be better longer term.

These are the perfect size for the Canvas posters on this site. The canvas posters most all need a little trimming, so that's not optimal, but the frames fit them great, and occasionally fit perfect. The canvas don't come true to their stated size. These arrive well packaged, don't scratch in shipping, have a protective layer to protect on scratching, and are lightweight, and easy to hang. Not glass, but poly. Great for kids room, studio, or other place where art isn't too expensive.

These picture frames are perfect. I love that the glass inside is not actually glass but is plexiglass. Ive had to replace many picture frames from smashed glass. These picture frames are solid but lite. Easy to hang and beautiful with or without the mat. Love the size options and has many color options.

Great picture frames. Bought them for my daughter to put her anime posters into. The frames, and borders actually made these posters look amazing. She is elated!

Bought 5 to frame picture of antique tractor and history of tractor for family and new owner of tractor who, by the way, restored it.
