ASICSWomen's Gel-Excite 9 Running Shoes

I walk about 20,000 steps a day for work, and these shoes have been absolutely amazing! They're light, breathable, and flexible but offer just the right amount of spring and support. They have a nice, wide toe box for maximum comfort and have held up longer than brands I've paid nearly double for (no big toe blowout!!!). To say I'm impressed is an understatement. I'm an Asics girl for life now!

True to size and comfortable

I have had a hard time finding a sneaker as comfortable and well fitting as my previous Nike Flyknis from 2019, but these have done it! They have the support and grip needed, especially by a woman who uses a walker. The flexible knit type fabric hugs my foot perfectly, allowing breathability, and still making each step secure.

I actually really like these shoes for their price point. I bought them specifically because reviews seemed like they had adequate arch support. I have found they do not have enough arch support. They are pretty thick foam. If you're used to slim shoes like Converse, they are going to take some getting used to. I wear these with Smartwool socks from REI, and I walked 3-6 miles on a couple days. The first day I walked 3 miles in them, my feet hurt a lot afterwards. Maybe they do need some breaking in because the day I walked 6 miles, I had little to no discomfort. Just the normal weary feet after walking that much, and some pain because the arch support wasn't enough. No blisters, but that might be because of my socks (they are magic!!). The laces are a bit too short for me, and/or maybe I should have sized up since my socks are so thick.Edit: After having these shoes for almost a year, they are worn out and I'm getting ready to replace them. They lasted me 11 months, although they've been too worn out for maybe the last month or so of that. The ways they are wearing out can kind of be dealt with? The back of the inner heel has a hole worn through layers into the foam, and my big and pinky toes have worn holes into the top. The fabric they use for the shoe uppers is very breathable, which means it's easy for water to soak through, and it's soft enough that it wears out quickly. Now, the soles are still fine. If it weren't for the uppers, I could wear these shoes for probably another year. I've been using them almost daily for the gym, walking around town, etc. They did end up having decent arch support, at least it stopped hurting after I broke them in.

These are great and very sturdy, keeping my form in check when doing HIIT workouts. I tend to lose my balance easily and these keep me from doing that. Size is perfect, toe box is good, color is pretty, arch support is perfect for me, flexibility is just enough to prevent injury, functionality is why I bought them. Usually shoes like these are too loose around my feet, causing them to slide around which isn’t ideal. These are perfect! Still toe room but I’m not sliding around in them.

True to size, soft materials, and cute colors. I can work comfortably for 12 hours.

ASICS are my go to brand, always comfortable

I absolutely love the support this shoe provides. Working 12+ hours a day on my feet is a killer. I have a previous fracture to my ankle and it provides great support. The color is so cute. The one major draw back is there is a hole that developed over both pinky toes because the mesh is not that great. It is flexible but I could still be wearing my shoes if it had not been for this. It lasted about a year before the mesh gave out.
