These catch fish!
Another great classic Rat-L-Trap lure. These have been consistently catching fish for years. They run true out of the package and the have great action and sound that attracts fish and gets vicious strikes. Tons of great colors to choose from to find the right pattern to fit your waters. can't even tell you how many fish the Rat-L-Trap has put in the boat. A proven classic that catches fish of all types.

This is the original design and it comes with Mustad hooks.
The only issue I have with this bait is it tends to wonder if I crank it fast. Maybe the new ones aren’t as good as the old ones or it might be me.

works well for bass and snook
Husband uses for bass up north, and for snook in Florida. This bleeding shad color is great for both.

For fall bass fishing this lure is tough to beat where I fish
Once those bait fish start coming in shallow, and all the way into late fall when the water starts to drop into the high 40s, these lures are tough to beat. Nothing I have used out fishes these at that time of year. I do every thing from swimming this around wood and rocks, swimming it on those drop offs right off the banks, to ripping it through dying vegetation. It is money. Not only does this lure catch numbers for me, it consistently seems to be a big fish bait. These hard baits produce one of the most exciting bites as well in my book. They absolutely thump these things when they strike.
