Great price and works well but had to fix it first
I thought the remote was defective and was going to send it back but then thought I would try something. The unit uses coiled wire for the positive battery contacts and the positive posts on the "energizer" batteries I am using would not reach through the case to make contact. I had to bend the coiled wire so that it would make contact with the battery posts. After doing that it has been working fine so I decided to keep it. I think they need to QA their product more closely. The price is great and it doesn't use voice command so saves on battery life! I have an older TV and have to run the output through a converter and then a preamp so obviously the volume control is N/A in my case.
