This is no $200 fluke DMM but it sure does get the job done!!! You won’t find a professional electrician using the DMM but for at home use this little guy is perfect!! You can easily and accurately measure the AC and DC voltage around the house or garage!The multi meter already comes with batteries and it’s ready to use. One of the best features of this DMM is the clamp! If you’ve ever worked on a car, you will quickly realize how useful the clamp really is!!! :)The LCD screen is very easy to read, the only thing that I would really change would be the back light! It does not stay on for very long, so if you’re doing some projects in poor light, this might become an issue.Outside of that I would recommend this DMM to anyone with small hobbies or as an entree level tester! Not recommended for fine resistance readings, values tend to jump around more than with a better unit and it takes a while for them to settle. Other than that it works fine.

This is a fantastic meter. It does everything you need it to and then some. And it is extremely accurite. My brother-in-law is an electrion and we did a side-by-side with his Fluke and this meter is spot-on! I do amateur electronics as a hobby (Raspberry Pi, Arduino ect) as well as work around the house and this meter excels equally at both. The temperature feature is an added bonus that I've already used handfull of times since its so handy. This meter is so feature-packed for somthing in this price range, you probably couldn't match it for twice the price. I definitely would and will buy again to have a spare.

The basic multi meter functions are the same as any other multi meter. Nothing special and no big problems. The unit feels good even though the price was only $15. The battery compartment isn't exactly well designed but its not like i need to get into it all the time. I am disappointed that the manual isn't easily accessible. I have never used a clamp meter before and without the manual had to figure it out for myself. The clamp is also nice to hang the meter over my desk while i use it to test the electronics.Overall i am happy with it and would recommend someone else to buy it if they needed a clamp meter.

You get what you pay for!!!! very dangerous to use because you cannot tell if the leads are making contact or not. Test leads do not fit securely in the sockets and many times will not show voltage or resistance. threw it away after using it the first time.

Nice Multi/Clamp Meter, I put it through a few test and it performed as it should. I did not have any trouble the meter or the clamp measuring or reading any electronic voltage or resistance. Packaging was good, the item came rapped in a bubble rap bag, in a box, witch came in a plastic bag, witch was in a large envelope lined with more bubble rap.... All cords and batteries were included. But, user manual was not. After further investigation, I found a small pamphlet giving instruction on how to down load a user manual in 5 different languages... Over all an exelet buy for the money. And I give it a definite recommendation...

This appears to work as well as I expect it to for the price. However, it arrived with no manual. The "manual" was a small document that said I should have received an email from them with the manual in it. I checked my email, and my spam folder, and 12 hours after placing my order, I still hadn't received it. The small paper also includes a QR code that you can scan that is supposed to take you to the manual. It does not. It takes you to Crenova's homepage. From there, I was unable to locate the manual. I googled "Crenova 6016A Manual" which got me to the page where the manual is located for download. HOWEVER, instead of putting the manual there in PDF format, they put all of the different language versions into a compressed RAR archive. Who even knows how to open a RAR archive anymore? Why do this? So I couldn't open it on my phone. So I downloaded the RAR file to my laptop, downloaded and installed 7-Zip to unpack the archive, and finally had the manual......which is, as expected, very poorly-translated into English from some other language. Maybe Chinese? Who knows? Very silly, and it wasted a lot of my time.

I usually get the cheap little multimeters from the big box store and have to replace them ever so often, wire leads break or they just quit working. For the money this one is such an improvement, nice long leads and thick wires, doubt if they break anytime soon. I love the temperature setting, tried it on a few things and seems dead on. The jaws actually measure flowing current, not just for hanging(used it on the breaker box to see what rooms are drawing the most) Overall, it's a multimeter, it does what you need and then some, a must tool to have around.
