Brighter than I expected. Bought the 2m version and my laptops usb port powers it just fine. Packaging says it draws 8W/m which means the usb port is providing 16watts!? Not sure if that is right but no problems powering a 2m strip.Only gave it 4 stars because the lighting is not quite as seamless as it looks in the photos. You can definitely see bright spots and tell apart individual LEDs but it's not that big a deal as you don't notice it too much from a distance or if it is behind glass or something.

Nice colour temperature, nice consistent light but as many other reviewers have found the item (5 metres) was delivered with dead segments. Such a shame as otherwise almost perfect strip light. If the light wasn't going to be visible (IE just used as hidden downlighter) then it wouldn't be an issue but the whole point of a COB type LED is that the visible light looks nice when viewed so dead LEDs is a major issue. If Amazon would allow a partial refund I'd just buy an extra meter but as they don't the whole lot has to go back which means I can't get on with my project until a new roll has arrived. Frustrating, really nice LED strip otherwise! When you press on the dead segments they light up so suggestive of just bad connections.

I’ve been searching for lights for my tv for about a month and could never find the perfect white! Finally found the colour and it appears one of the panels of LED’s is a lot brighter than the rest (bottom right corner) 😭 I’m not sure if this is normal/common but I’m gutted as it’s all I can notice now.

It's a nice light, good warm colour, but the power cable is only 15-20 cm long! Fortunately, I had some spare cable so I cut the supplied one off and soldered my own back on.

LED strip bright and light, good strength adhesive and easy to install.

The number of LEDs and built in diffuser makes it look WAY better than most other LED strips. It provides nice, bright, and even lighting.I bought the 4000K colour temp variant which was more "yellow" than I expected, but not horrible.I could not drive this from the TV's USB ports, a USB hub, or my PC's USB ports as I found it either didn't work or just kept flashing on/off.This turned out to be due to the light's high power requirements, and it was perfectly fine when plugged into a USB power adapter.With regards to the power consumption, that wrapper says 5v and 8w per meter, which would make the 2m strip consume 3.2A. This is way higher than USB supports, so whilst I do think it has a high power requirement I'm not convinced 3.2A is accurate.
