Our grandson told us that it was a great book. He enjoyed reading it along with the companion book that gave him more information on WWII.

My son enjoyed reading this book, he loves to read facts about WW II.

I'm. A grandmother who has read The Magic Treehouse books to my grandson. This book is wonderful. This book should be read in a classrooms so our next generation knows what their country suffered for our freedom. I enjoyed reading it myself and I plan to read this to my grandson who is in sixth grade. I'm giving it five stars!!

This book was so interesting book for even me, a child of a POW Veteran of WWII. My dad would not talk about the War while I was growing up. I love the history of WWII.My grown sons are reading it now.

Ordered for grandson who has all of the companion books.

I use this in class like all the Magic Tree books. Good balance of fiction and non fiction reading that the students love.
