Includes cables and hardware - worked great!
My daughter’s dropper seat post stopped working as the cable had rusted. This lever is for a different brand, but worked great on her Trek Cujo. This includes the lever, cables and hardware, so the only thing missing is the dropper seat post itself. Glad I read the reviews as other people have bought the cables separately without needing to. The cable sleeve was longer than the one I was replacing, so I just cut it to match the size using a Dremel tool. Used the old cable sleeve to pull the new one through the down tube by taping them end to end. Otherwise fishing the cable sleeve through the down tube can be tricky.

Not cheap but less insanely overpriced than the competitors and it works for me
So yeah... maybe $39 is still a bit overpriced but you do get the cable, housing and barrel ends and inserts. I did not use the cable housing as mine is still in good shape. This replaced my broken(my silly crash) 2016 DNM post lever and thought if I have to pay $79 for a lever I might just pony up and buy another post to have as a spare but decided to pull the trigger on an unknown zero reviews product. This replacement worked perfectly on my first ride yesterday. The adjustment in the housing works ok as I did need a tad more pressure to give the lever a bit more snap-back. I did play with the adjustment section even before trying to assemble. Another thing I like is the simplicity of the lever which is a screw to tighten to the bars and another is on the pivot/hinge.

Seems identical to my PNW lever
Flawless function, very happy.

Definitely worth the price
It works. If you have a 2x crankset, it'll be difficult to find a spot. Look at my picture to see the location I used that worked for me.The packaging is pretty plain; it came in a simple brown bag without instructions, but it's a cheap lever anyway.Used it on a blue and green run over in North Bend, WA, on a single suspension mountain bike and it held up great. Cable didn't get lose and nothing broke. I don't listen to torque specs though and just tighten it up until I think it's good, so your mileage will vary. Not 5 stars because there are improvements that could be made (rubber grip on the lever, for example). But for the price, it's definitely worth it.
