Works like a charm!
My oil fueled boiler was often leaking at the pressure relief valve and the air vents... the logical culprit was the intake valve which we’ve had for ten years. It was providing inconsistent pressure to the baseboard hearing system. Pulled the old one out along with the three inch nipple below it and replaced it with this new one. Works like a charm after a quick adjustment to the pressure screw!

warning- this does not include backflow preventer!
It works great for it's purpose but it DOES NOT include the backflow preventer. Description is not correct. I had to return it.

Exactly what it claims to be
It is exactly what it claims to be. The bass/bronze body is what I wanted vs the iron ones at my local "Home Center." Fast, easy install. The pressure claims to be factory set at 15psi, which I think was close, however I run a cold start so after multiple hot/cold cycles my hot temp is closer to 20psi. Not that this is problem with the valve, but if you want to maintain lower pressures you may need to set it 20% to compensate for the temp swings.

Solved the high pressure problem
What’s to not like? Easy replacement, only took about ten minutes. Took longer to relieve pressure on the system than to replace the part. Count on about an hour and some water on the floor.

It's really brass.
Spend more and get a brass bodied pressure relief valve. The steel bodied valves are cheaper but they rust up internally and clog the filter screen so they need to be replaced more often.
