Total different feeling with using this ceramic knife from using a steal knife.I love it.It's 8" blade which is thicker and wider and lighter than the steel knife. It has a comfortable handle which make it very easy to hold and has less fatigue. The blade is BPA free and science it is ceramic so i don't need to worry about rusting or browning also it is bacteria-resistant and stain-resistant. I put it to use immediately after I recieved it and found that its very very sharp and easy to cut meat. It comes with a pretty gift box and a sheath so after use i can keep it in that and worry free that children might accidentally cut their hands with it , of course you'd better to keep it far away from children.

Pro Nice looking, nice comfortable handle but Con Not at all sharp! Had a bunch of Bell Peppers to prep tonight and this knife struggled to cut through the outer skin. It did work for mass chopping up onions but did not slice them without considerable effort. Tried to cut cooking chicken into strips and it just tore them up instead. I have several other smaller ceramic knives that are much. much sharper. So I do Not recommend buying this knife.

The knife came with a super cute case. The knife looks really nice when you open it. The handle on the knife was really well built and the blade looks very well built. To test it out I decided to cut a grape fruit and the knife had no problem cutting through it. The grape fruit was a couple days old and the skin was a little tough so it surprised me how easy it was to cut. I also used it to chop other veggies and I did it with ease. I have to say it’s a great value knife! 👍🏽👍🏽

I was very excited when I made this purchase. I did my research and knew to cut on a plastic cutting board so as not to damage the ceramic. All was going well cutting the cannalope I thought. However to my dismay the tip got chipped.The knife is still usable so for now I will keep it. But for my next knife I will be using steel as opposed to ceramic.

Inexpensive but certainly not a cheap product. I work with knives everyday and quality is very important. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I opened the box, washed the knife, and attempted to cut a butternut squash with it. The knife broke immediately.

Lightweight and sharp. Just need to keep in mind that it is ceramic and use it accordingly.I'm very happy with it so far and hope it holds up.

TheFitLife is an excellent chef knife. Exremely sharp and with a nice black ceramic eight inch blade and five inch handle it sill fits in my knives wooden block.
