Rarely leave reviews and didn't have overly hight hopes but these are brilliant. Had them running nearly full time since purchasing a month ago and the electric has barely altered. Lay them underneath a bed and blanket and the cats can't get enough of them. 6 heats settings and number 3 is plenty, a quick touch and doesn't feel much but once they have been on them a short sleep you can feel the heat roaring through. Anything above then feels just too hot. Perfect with a blanket folded over them. Very impressed. This is not a paid review, but a legit, genuine purchase that the cats have approved unlike most things I get them.

Ordered for my old cocker spaniel as he feels the cold being an old boy.The heat pad is a perfect size. He has a large flat foam mat covered with a thermal layer. On top he has a donut bed, he sleeps on his back and chills out.The heat pad fits between both the pad and donut bed. I’ve had the heat set between 2 and 4. Setting 2 is all he can tolerate. Any higher and he’s up and out his bed a lot through the night. Setting 2 and he is extremely happy.The pad and cable are quite sturdy. The cover is easy removed for cleaning.I use the timer all the time and no issues. Always works.Checking the electricity usage on my smart meter, the pad isn’t expensive to run.Well worth the money to keep your pet cozy during the cold nights.Would recommend.

Bought this heating pad for my arthritic cat to help ease her symptoms during the winter. At first she seemed only mildly interested, but once the weather got a little colder and we realised we hadn't been turning the heating element up to full, she seemed a lot keener on availing herself of its comforts. Given her fondness for having it on at full blast, it's nice to know that this mat is pet safe, and will not get hot enough to risk hurting her. The only real issue I have faced is that I have two cats and it's not always easy to discourage my perfectly healthy younger cat from stealing it off her!

Seems good quality, but it’s a hard surface. No way my boney whippet with his whippet legs would be comfortable. The surface is soft but there’s no cushioning at all.

I've had this heated pet pad since early 2020. My cat had died and I got it to comfort my grieving remaining cat. Since purchasing this heated pad. I've left it on constantly on level 2 low heat from late September when it gets a bit nippy to May. I turn it up to level 4 if it's a particularly cold winter day.2 of our cats are elderly and they have arthritis, our youngest is less than a year old and he enjoys this heated pad too.We've had furballs and sick on it and the cover just comes off and washes beautifully. I wrap a fleecy pet blanket over the bad whilst the cover is being washed any my cat still loves it.We don't have the heating on in our home when we are out especially now with the energy prices soaring through the roof. So this is particularly good for our pets to keep warmAlso the size is perfect for 2 cats sleeping next to each other sprawled out. Unless you have a particularly large/ long breed, this will fit most cats and dogs comfortably.I like this heat pad so much I have 2 (the price is also reasonable as some are really expensive on Amazon), when I move to a bigger home, Ill be purchasing a few more to dot around the house. Sometimes I even sit on the cat's spot because it's warm and cosy. Please don't tell my cat!

Seller was great in relation to delivery. However, the product is not very good and does not get that warm, even on its highest setting.I tested product as recommended, by placing a pillow on to the mat for 30 minutes. Even after doing this the heat underneath pillow was not that good.

Used this for small puppies, I found it good and it kept them nice and warm

I have two elderly Siamese cats and they really feel the cold. So a couple of years ago I bought them a different heat pad, and put it into their bed, on top of a pillow, inside the pillow case. They loved it, but I found that those other heat pads stopped working after a year or so of continuous use; and they were a little too small for my two cats to stretch out on together. So we got my cats a bigger bed, and this heat pad, and they are in heaven.It's slightly warmer than their previous heat pads, which they like; but not hot enough to cause problems or burn them, so long as it's covered. They do come with their own plushy cover, but when I put the heat pads on top of their pillows they slithered off (the heat pads, not the cats!). So I've made them bigger pillows, and bigger pillow cases, which are all sized to this heat pad, and it works a treat.If you're worried about the heat pads being too hot these ones come with a control that's part of the cable, with several different heat settings, and a timer, which you can use if you want to deprive your cats of 24 hour heat (and why would you?). Or you can do what we do: whack it up to the hottest setting, leave it on 24 hours a day, and live with very happy cats. Perfect!

Given the reviews I started at a six and returned at 20 minutes to put my hand on it. It was very warm! I put it down to three before letting my dog on it! It’s also noticeably warm to the touch at this setting! I don’t know what people expected from this when writing all of these reviews. These settings would even cook me and I’m 260lbs. It seems to be of quality and built with safety in mind. It’s only the first day. But, I felt the need to say this given all of the contradicting reviews. As for everyone rating it poorly because they can’t keep their dog from chewing the cord; people are disgustingly disappointing. It says it’s chew resistant, meaning they made it more durable than a typical cord. The burden is on you to teach your dog basic chew discipline for its own well being.

Reviews on this seem to be mixed, but all I can do is be honest and say so far this has been great for me. My cat was the runt of the litter and has always been thin and bony - no matter how much I feed her - so she definitely feels the winter cold more then most and this seemed like a good solution. The heating pad is a great size for a cat or small dog, and the cord is securely encased to prevent chewing. You can set it to 2,4,8,12, or 24 hours on with six different temperature levelsPlenty of people seem to complain it doesn't get warm enough but I've seen no evidence of that. I find power level 4 with a towel thrown on top of the pad to be perfect. This isn't like a regular heating pad where you'd want to feel the heat - it's made for pets and so emanates heat a little differently. Love being able to set it for 12 hours and not worry about my cat getting cold at night.The only concern I have is a lot of reviews state after a couple of months their heating pads suddenly stop working. I've been using this daily since early January and here in mid March I'm hoping mine will be the exception and not break - if something happens I will update this review, At this time however, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Some reviews say "not warm enough" but the tech here is that it warms once contact from the pet laying on it. We have 5, one for each dog and our cat for the living room and their beds. Unfortunately the last 2 nights we've gotten an error code soon after turning it on, therefore not functioning. What is also unfortunate is the return window closed by just 18 days of this order.... Not sure I'd buy this brand again since this is the second heat pad that has done this. I thought the first one was random but now it's frustrating and not worth the waste and constant buying new every time.
