Great, sharp, nice looking knives
I bought these for my husband and he loves them! They are very sharp and weighted well. They do tarnish up a bit if you don't dry them after washing but not too bad. We only put them in the dishwasher and never dry them and they still look pretty good. The packaging is gorgeous! It would make a very nice gift. I think they are totally worth the money and are way better quality than the ones you can pick up at the super stores.

Very good right out of the box.
Ordered these because I tired of having cheap serrated steak knives that tear more than cut. These are certainly inexpensive steak knives, but I have to say their performance is top notch. Out of the box they have a very keen edge able to shave paper with. I only did minor honing on a leather to make them really excel, but one out of the four didn't even need that! Very pleased. They glide through sirloin and pork chops as if they were the most tender filet. Fit and finish is very good, not quite at the level of $200 sets, but very good. I wouldn't hesitate to set these out on a formal table. Very nice.

Great Knife at a Great Price
Bought this knife because I really liked the steak knife set from them. This knife did not dissapoint, it cuts super smooth and the knife quality overall is great. Couldn't believe how inexpensive it was, does not feel like it only cost $10.

Great but there is rust
I love the hand feel of these knives and the sharp non-serrated edge. However, after a year they started showing rust spots. One reviewer said that is because the blades are high carbon steel, which provides a sharper blade but is more prone to rust than stainless steel. Anyway, the rust can be removed with a rust remover or WD-40. Be sure to clean them with dish soap afterward. I suppose if I did not put them through the dishwasher and instead washed and dried them by hand, rust would not be an issue.

Great steak knives for the money
A couple of years back I bought the Amazon Basics serrated steak knives, and I hate them. They are heavy duty and nicely manufactured at the cost, but they are more likely the rip than cut through a piece of fish. These are not serrated; they are very sharp and easily resharpened and they are attractive too. And while more carefully finished steak knives, as well as ones with a more expensive steel, exist, for the money these are very, very good. And the price aside, they are still pretty good at what they do.

Great value
My sister asked me to bring knives to Christmas so I bought her these so she’ll always have a backup set. Everyone was pretty impressed with these knives and they were sharp right out of the box. I’m not sure what kind of metal they are but I’m not against cheap metal in certain situations anyway as it is easier to sharpen, it just wouldn’t hold an edge as long.

High End Steak Knife for Bargain Price
Wanted a premium steak knife that was non-serrated but did not want to break the bank with this purchase. I was not familiar with the Legendary Chef brand but decided to take a chance as the reviews from Amazon were very good. The knives work well and can cut a marinated London Broil (inexpensive cut of lean meat) very thin (1/4") across the meats grain. I grilled the London Broil for about 4 to 5 minutes on my George Foreman Grill resulting in the meat being a juicy, medium pink. The knives come in a very nice box that you can present as a gift. After using the knives I decided to purchase another set as a gift. The knives are well balanced and have nice wooden handles. I wash the knives by hand and suggest that you don't put them in the dishwasher to better preserve the wooden handles. I have Cutco and J.A. Henckel knives that were handed down to me. They work very well but cost a great deal more. Will the Legendary Chef knives be passed down to the next generation, only time will tell, but at the price I paid I can afford to purchase another set.
