I was looking for relief as my neck and shoulders muscles were very tense and felt weak. I had recently injured my left shoulder, rotator cuff. I was given a sling, but that aggravated it and caused my back to tense in my neck and my shoulders. I used heat to help relax the tension. I was in excruciating pain.I had gone to see a doctor and was referred to PT. In the meantime, I purchased a back brace to help support my back. The back supporter helped, but I was beginning to have trouble lifting my head up. Also, I was getting tingling in my fingers.I went to PT and was put in a traction apparatus and it helped. I only went twice and only on the apparatus once. I was still in pain still using heat to help the tension.I looked into a neck brace and I'm happy I did. This brace is a lifesaver! I put it on and what a difference it made! I had it on for about an hour and the relief was immediate.This brace is simple and it is so comfortable. It is relieving the pain in my shoulders and helping my head from tilting downward. The brace is soft, but holds its shape for ultimate comfort. I am very pleased with my purchase.

To be honest, this surprised me. I thought the smaller 2.5" vs competitors 3.3" might be too short. I ordered another brand that was 3.3" wide in the large size. I'm 5'10, 225lb husky build and figured that was good, but thought I might as well give this one a try. This one is perfect. I returned the other one as it was too tight and made my skin itch badly. This one is soft yet offers firm support. I used to keep weight off my fused cervical spine while I work on a computer all day long. This was a great investment for the money. I'll replace my $50 neck pillow used for airplane flights with this. If you think you need one, buy it.

I had a cervical fusion and needed a better fit neck brace. It works well. Only recommendation is know that the back area measures a little higher than the listed measurement.

The last neck brace I bought (from another seller) was a large. I washed it and it seemed to have shrunk just a little although it still fits. I was going to order this in large but looked at the sizing chart and thought an XL would be more comfortable. It is tighter than the shrunken large I bought several years ago, the notch for the chin wasn't as deep, the fabric wasn't as comfortable (not wearable, for me, at night), and (because it would just barely go around my neck) the velcro kept coming loose. I should have returned it but trashed it instead. Very disappointed.

If you work with a computer all day, this will definitely prevent neck pain. It helps keep your neck from bending it stays in place, somehow it also gives relief to shoulders too. Great idea for computer workers.

I have some neck issues that flare up on long car rides or airplane rides, especially the red eye. Forget those neck pillows, just get this, works better, packs smaller and lighter. I just pop it on once I am settled in my seat,doze, land, tuck away, it can even fit in a water bottle side pocket.

I had cervical fusion and had to wear a neck brace for 3 months. I wore the hard brace for a month 24/7 and then during the day and this soft one at night. It was super comfortable while still keeping my neck supported. Differently recommend this own.

The 2.5” collar was more comfortable for my short neck than the 3” collar provided by my surgeon. I like that it came with a sleeve. Without the sleeve, this was itchy and bothered my skin.
