Just Beware
Like some mention, you bought the two port version and it honestly worked well. I had the two port version in operation for about a year, but I still needed at least four ports and upgraded. But something is up with the 4 port version. well they both have an odd method to operate the Keyboard and Mouse. You will find that the built in keyboard and mouse ports are an emulation. So if you have a Rat Mouse and/or a higher standard keyboard, the extra buttons and features do not work when plugged into the provided keyboard and mouse usb ports. It just shows up as a generic HID compliant device. So the next progression made me hang a USB hub off the actual real USB port that isnt emulated. That worked, worked well, but...It has so far blown out one cheap USB hub, but it still is having issues now with my Anker USB hub. So I had to direct connect that hub to my main machine because it becomes a disco when all the lights on my keyboard and mouse start blinking out for now reason. Not the hubs fault. Because I bought two Ankers last time. Thinking it blew out the one Anker. plugged in the fresh untouched Anker USB hub. Still Disco mode often. The Anker hasnt blinked since directly plugged, but I have to do things to connect to the other PCs/Servers on the other portsAnd honestly it seems the ports for the HDMI/USB-B connections are weak. And its not like I am moving the device or it gets nudged. its been in steady state all the time. Now looking for a better solution without breaking the bank.

Cheap and gets the job done.
Probably one of the cheaper 4 computer kvm switches that are not bad quality. I am having some issues with some computers connecting to my 3440x1440 60hz ultrawide monitor. It would sometimes cause the screen to flicker and in worst case, it would just go black and would come back for a second before going black again.I think this would be perfect for 1080p monitors.

Works perfectly but LOUD beeps
Very quick and easy to set up. Simply plug the supplied HDMI & USB cables to into the computer and the designated slots and plug in HDMI-out, keyboard and mouse on the back of the box. You should be ready to go. I connected a Windows server and laptop while both were running, and after adjusting the display settings of the server for the "new" monitor, I was up and running. My Mac mini was also just as easy to connect. I am using a Bluetooth / wireless keyboard and separate wireless mouse and have the dongles plugged into the slots on the back of the KVM unit. You can switch between devices by pressing the Select button on the front, or with the supplied remote. You will need to supply your own CR2025 batter for the remote. Please note this only comes with 2 HDMI / USB cables despite being a 4-port device, so I'm knocking off 1 star. I had to rummage through my spare cables to find a USB A-to-USB B cable to connect the Mac mini.

Was great for about 1 year, now flaky...and now video is completely dead....
This at first glance appears to be a well designed and crafted KVM device - exactly what I was looking for. In fact I love that I can actually turn it off when not needed, and quickly select through the four devices I have connected through it. Worked well out of the box.I have now owned this device for a year, and several days ago, the video portion didn't work. For three consecutive days it didn't work. I unplugged all the cables, switched a few and lo-and-behold it started showing the video portion again, however the image was very pixelated. The following day the image seemed fine for about an hour, then the screen started getting wavy - then after a few minutes the monitor went black.Today - it seems to be working fine so far, but it seems obvious the video portion is failing and just a matter of hours before it goes black forever.I really like this product, and just want this to last as long or longer than the computers connected to it (previous KVM lasted close to 10 years before i upgraded to this one).UPDATE: about a week after originally posting this - the video output is completely dead.

Sometimes the display fails when switching inputs
The form factor is great. Relatively small footprint. Easy to connect. Remote is nice. Keyboard and mouse dedicated usb ports dont support wireless adapters. So had to buy a powered usb hub and connect it to the usb input. Wireless mac keyboard not supported. Sometimes when switching from one input to another, the system loses signal and displays video static. Have to switch to another input and then back to reset it. Annoying. Tried to enable my warranty but TESmart will not recognize my amazon order number. Overall I am happy but I would not buy this unit again.

Solid KVM so far
I had initially purchased the newer, more expensive "4:4:4" second generation HDMI 4K unit that TEsmart offers and it would fail to switch about 5% of the time which was maddening. Using the SCROLL-SCROLL-number key it would work fine but about one in every 20 times it would ust leave me with a black screen until I switched away from that input and back again when it would work. I returned that unit - I'm not sure if it was bad hardware or a firmware bug. I bought this older unit and it didn't have the same issue. It still gives me 50Hz at 3440x1440 resolution which is good enough for me, so so far I am happy with it. It remains to be seen how well it works over time but so far so good, 5 stars for what I'm using it for.
