Why does it say from the manufacturer 20' section and comes in a 15' section? I'm not happy!

Does this coil (shorten) as the dog walks or stay straight? We have an aerial run & need a cable to coil above his head so he won't tangle his feet.

Will the lawn mower break this cable?

How long is this cable? The title says 30 feet but the description says 15 feet in one place and 20 feet in another.
