Crazy Bonez Skeleton - Bat Bonez

4.5 stars.I bought two of these bats to add to our growing skeleton collection. I was just hoping to add him to our annual outdoor skeleton tableau and bought two in case he was too small and needed a buddy to beef up his appearance.First off, shipping wasn't as fast as I had hoped, but since the bats weren't in stock, the shipping delay was understandable. One reason why I always order way ahead of time. Both were packaged in a small box and protected fairly well.When I first pulled them out of the box, I actually thought their heads were on backwards, until I realized their feet were bent so that they can hang off of ledges or lines. I immediately hung them on my chandelier to test this and it worked like a charm. The feet are bent enough to give a solid "bite" to the edge it hangs from. The mouths open and close, and the head turns from side-to-side. That is the end of the movement for these. I have read that heating them will make them pliable enough to adjust the wings, but I won't risk it and the half-open wings don't bother me at all.My only issue, and it is an issue I have with all the skeleton animals, are the ears. It bugs me, for some reason, that they have ears (which aren't bone and wouldn't be featured on a skull). It is probably done for identification purposes, so anyone could identify a cat from a dog, etc...It isn't enough for me to not want to buy them, but it is enough for me to wonder how I could go about removing them.Overall, great product. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to add a couple of bats to their belfry.

I love the Crazy Bonez collection. We have the big pose-and-stay skeleton; he's very cool. I just purchased the cat. I'm preparing for halloween early to avoid seasonal high prices. I rarely do this and I'm probably a little too pleased with myself.This bat is everything I had hoped for and more. It's solid and I can hang it indoors or out. Its head turns and its jaw opens and closes. I think the best feature is its feet; they curl back and I can hang it almost anywhere. The wings are super creepy. This is the 19" bat.(Update)I purchased the 22" bat a week before Halloween. I couldn't resist. It's huge!

This item is ALOT smaller then shown in the picture. Its my fault though because I didn't read the description but I figured I'd be ok since it wasn't clothing. I should know better since this happens with ALOT of the items sold by different companies on Amazon. I really wish Amazon would make it where companies who sell items on their site have to have pictures that match actual products. Either that or if something like this happens make it where customers can return the item with no fees taken off. I ended up keeping it because its a skeleton bat and bats are small so its easier then returning it. I'll just have to look elsewhere for a larger size or buy 3-4 of these so I have a bunch of tiny bats. Maybe I'll hang them in the shape of the large bat in the picture outside the house and pretend its really 1 large bat versus the baby bat I have

A great addition to my growing crazy bonez skeleton army. It's too cute for me to wait until Halloween to put it up, so for now it hangs from our entertainment center. Love that the feet are bent to make an automatic ledge-holder, making this easy to place just about anywhere.

I love Crazy bonez, I own 4 now, crow, frog, vulture and now the bat. The bat is especially sweet because his little feet curve and you can hang him by his feet AND his head can be manipulated. I have a cacti collection and all my crazy bonez are displayed on my cactus shelves.

I like this sturdy cruelty-free bat skeleton, but wish the feet could rotate around backwards so it would be more anatomically correct. This bat's feet are backwards, for a bat. And it really shouldn't have ears, since those are made of cartilage. Other than those two points, I like these plastic skeletons and think it will hold up well on my little educational display table.

What a delightfully creepy little fellow. Hangs wonderfully, with it's back facing toes, from any ledge or sil. Would highly recommend this to any purveyors of the skeletal critter persuasion or Halloween enthusiasts!

I love this product. I am a big fan or bats and skulls. I was looking for something to hang right above my door way and this was the perfect fit! I was a little nervous that it was going to look way too fake. however the color and the texture look to the bat gives it just the right feel! Im very excited to be buying a few other skeletons or skulls from this seller. they look great hung up on the wall or would be the perfect fit for a halloween party this year! you could even paint it or had some decaying flesh! over all great size and look.
