I was very excited the day I saw the box sitting on my porch when I got home from work, I picked it up and brought it in the house and cracked it open! It was in very mint condition and I happily added it to my movie/tv car collection on my wall!!!

I have always loved Herbie and I have wanted to add him to my car collection since I was a child. I am glad to give this gift to myself.

Perfect little Hot Wheels Herbie car. Nicer than I thought because it's a solid full "metal" car that has good weight to it. Completes my movie car collection I have going on.

I wanted this car for my personal collection and am satisfied. However, a serious collector would be disappointed: the car's packaging was bent slightly to fit the box, leaving a crease in the box. (I don't keep my VWs in their packaging.). Also, the painted lines on the car itself had flaws. Not sure if the seller acquired these Herbies because they were seconds, but if so, please make sure to list the issue with the paint job. The shipping was prompt. Like I said, I am pleased, but other buyers, just a heads up.

This was my first purchase of a Hot Wheels car online. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. First off, the red and blue stripes on the roof hadn't completely dried when the car was packaged, and the paint smeared a bit. I was able to clean most of it, but I don't think I'd have sent that particular car to a first time buyer if I were the seller. Then, the front wheels don't roll smoothly. The seller couldn't have known that, but still, my car will only roll if I help it along, and then, only on more resistant surfaces. I could never race it on a Hot Wheels track if I wanted to. All in all, not really what I would have hoped for.
