Good value
I wish I had bought this long ago, instead of throwing away readers and sunglasses that lost screws. The variety of screws seems adequate. The case could be better--I barely bumped the cover while it was open, and all the screws jumped around and got mixed up. I ended up removing the black insert, and let everything blend together. Instructions would have been helpful--it took me a while to figure out how the screwdriver works, since I didn't initially think to unscrew it to find the other head type. Still not quite sure how the friction head works or which screws are the special ones mentioned in the description. However, I was able to repair a pair of expensive readers I would otherwise have had to replace, and used the tiny Phillips head to replace a pedometer battery, so I'm satisfied. The addition of magnifier and tweezers would be a good addition, and be worth a bit higher price.

Go to the repair shop
If your life is not difficult enough and you would like to add to it the most tedious repair in our common day and age, then by all means purchase this kit and give it a go. The screw required for my sunglasses was so tiny I could scarcely feel it in my hand. With holding the lens in place, matching the frame on the lens and trying to screw in a microscopic screw with middle aged eyes, I simply wasted $7 and an hour of my day. Off to an eyeglasses place to have someone with the proper equipment, lighting and finger sizing to make this repair. I've made simple eye glass repairs before, but this one was much too tiny of a screw. Be realistic about whether or not you can really make the change (e.g. look at the size of the matching screw). For me, in this instance, this kit was a complete waste of my money and time. Also, the kit was shaken up during transport so the screws arrived no longer separated, but a big jumbled mess. MOST, over half, of the screws in this kit I would classify as too small for an amateur repair.

Served it's purpose
It's OK. You get 3 of each screw/washer. I couldn't get them to work on 3 pairs of glasses. I found an old mini kit and my husband was able to fix the specs using both. Impossible to find if you drop one on a carpet. The screwdriver needs a magnetic head because you can't hold the screws as they are so small. I also felt it was too short. On the plus side, there's an attachment that screws on over the driver that has an inset that accepts the little washers. All that being said, I got my glasses fixed and the price was pretty low so job done.

Should have the screw you need
The screws are super small of course, and they were a little jumbled up when this was delivered to my house....But I was able to find a screw to fix my wife's Costa sunglasses. They're so small it took a while fumbling around to get the screw in, but now I'm a hero to my wife because I fixed her sunglasses. Thanks MPET

this is undeniably an eyeglass repair kit
its an eyeglass repair kit. it works exactly the way that you think it does. Can't give five stars only because 5 stars equates to, according to amazon, "I love it". But its an eyeglass repair kit, I just don't have the depth of emotion available to me right now to have that sort of reaction to what is, and tis is important, an eyeglass repair kit.

Way better than other eyeglass repair kits I have seen
Better quality than Eyeglass repair kits I have seen or purchased, but still at a reasonable cost. A variety of screws held in place by the compartmented foam pad. The screwdriver tool is easy to assemble as either slotted or phillips screw head and it is sturdy. Assembled it is longer than it appears in the case and is easy to grip. The variety of screws and the two types of nose pads appear, from my experience, to cover almost every requirement. The plastic case is not indestructible, but it is more solid than others. All told, I am very, very pleased with the kit.

Good deal!
This is probably the most comprehensive eyeglass repair kit I've ever gotten. There is every size screw you could imagine, the only thing that would have made it better is if the little screwdriver had been magnitied, as that would have made manipulating those little buggers a little easier! All in all, still a great bargain!

Screws too small for my readers and sunglasses
Kit itself was okay. All the screws were too small (in diameter), however. I had two pairs of reading glasses and one pair of sunglasses to fix, and the screws were too small for all of them. I took a chance, not knowing what sizes I needed, but this kit did not fit the bill. I was hoping to avoid buying a larger kit, but I will have to purchase another that has a wider range of sizes.
