These needles are just the right size for hand piecing fabrics together.

Rather small in length! Hard to hang onto!

I (tried to) use this for English Paper Piecing. This is a great slick, sharp needle with pros and cons:Pro: long, sharp and thin. Hardly leaves a mark in the fabric and moves quickly through the multiple layers of fabric without binding.Cons: 1) The eye is too small to thread with standard weight quilters cotton thread — and I’ve found no needle threader that will help (they are all too large to pass through the eye). 2) Prone to bending.

I ordered the needles from Amazon because they were easier to find. The prices are good as well.

These needles are very thin and do not leave a visible hole in the fabric. I use them with very fine cotton and silk thread. The result is you cannot see the stitches on the appliqué. They are a good length also.

These needles are so nice for needle-turn appliqué. Very smooth and the eye is easy to thread. For a size 11 milliners they are the best.

These needles are awesome! I first purchased these needles for English paper piecing and they are amazing! Wonderful wonderful wonderful!
