I tried many different shavettes and different blade holding methods. This Steel Slider insert method, where you slide the blade into the shavette is fantastic.The light weight of this shavette allows you to apply exactly the amount of pressure whilst rotating the blades angle.The shavette works with any double edged blade snapped in half, the slider insert actually has some excellent grooves which fit into the blades very well keeping a firm grip on the blades with both friction and the grooves. The shavette also has very useful indentations on the tang (end of the handle) which allows for extra grip when you have soapy wet fingers and you need to rotate the blades angle.Overall can't knock it, excellent product at a great price and it comes with a good pouch to carry it.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect, does and feels what it’s meant to do compared to any other brands on Amazon. Most brands on Amazon have a interconnecting mechanism on the outside which is not how it should be as this rips into the small hairs as your glide the blade. However, this product and brand by KINGS has the mechanism inside and provides a smooth outer feel with no irritation to skin or hair. The product is protected inside and outside and I can see the efforts this brand has taken to emphasise style and uniqueness. I hope to see more soon!

Bought this and unfortunately cannot return it. On first inspection it looks really nice. The wooden handle looks good however when I went to use it. The metal part might as well be made of plastic. It is very flimsy and it does not hold the razor blade well.The blade feels almost loose and scary to shave with.The blade also does not sit at the end so you cant detail with this. The blade sits about 0.5cm in from the edge so if you need to do fine detailing you cant.I will be looking for a replacement. Not worth the cost.

Overall not a bad product, the handle feels nice and is of a good material however the arm does not match, in use it feels like a kids toy, the mechanism to hold the blade is a nice idea however the notches on which the blade sits could be a tad bigger as the current size can see the blade slip off before insertion, it was also pretty tricky to push back in once the blade was on, you had to wiggle it a bit and push down on the blade hoping your finger didn’t pull it back off before you managed to slide it back in place, once in it stuck out a good 2mm, in comparison the one I was using before has the blade stick out only 0.5mm, removal was also tricky and took a real push to try and get it to slide back out, in my opinion I would certainly rather a slightly smaller and heavier cut throat where I can cut with conviction and precision, whilst things feeling light and airy are normally considered a positive this can not come under that category. In conclusion this is an okay cut throat, it will get the job done but I feel there is better options out there at a cheaper price, I ordered expecting a premium product, whilst premium is not what I felt I received I still received something that would definitely get the job done

Absolutely great bit of kitFirst of all take a little time to practice with it then it comes so easyI’ve used it 3 times now and I’m getting a perfect shape to my beard I may even say better than the barber I use !!!??Seriously it’s a time consuming job to get it right but results are amazingPractice practice practice 👍👍👍👍

The product came in a luxurious case with a nice velvet pouch, which makes it a great gift! The wooden handle allows for a good grip and control. It is easy to add razors and there are detailed instructions in the pack. Great value for money!
