I really enjoy this product. I create a game with these cubes and it turned out very well.

I\For me, they were a disappointment. I have ordered these twice and while they come as advertised, I needed true square and while close, they are off enuff that i cant do what i want. I can use them for other projects but the puzzle i was attempting to make will have to be wood cubes i construct myself.

It does not carve or whittle like basswood. Far too hard. Do not buy for these uses!

I dont know what you're up to, but these are one inch wooden blocks that accept acrylic paint just perfectly.That's what I wanted, and that's what I got.

Shame on me. Lesson learned.These are rock hard & near impossible to carve. I tried to carve 2 thinking I must have grabbed a bad one..nope.. all might as well be stone. Don't waste your money!I will likely toss these in the bottom of a flower pot for drainage rather than spend money on more rocks as these are rock hard anyway.

Crappy quality. Dark stains on a few and just not something I’ll return and purchase nor encourage anyone else to.

Hands down the worst carving wood I have ever purchased. There's no way in hell that this is basswood. I might as well go try to whittle a new granite countertop. I'm sure it would be easier than whatever this crap is.

Too grainy ... Could be of better quality
