Cornerstones 1967-1970

As a long time fan of Jimi I would have given this CD 5 stars and then some. What let's this compilation down is that some of the tracks can only be described as mono. Having said that, this is a brilliant compilation of the varied tracks of Jimi and the band. Ofcourse all the favourites are here and you probably have them on other releases. Some of the tracks are what I would call "different versions ", which adds to the richness of sound. There are also a couple of live tracks to round it all off. Yes this definitely one for the fans, but it would also be a great introduction for potential new fans.

Very happy with purchase, was for a present which was very happily received by a Jimi Hendrix fan, personally have not heard it yet, but positive feed back from recipient.
