Lykus M1 - Best Drone Carrying Case For Mavic Air 2 / Mini
I have spent $25 on a lightweight bag for my Mavic Mini. Drooled on the high-end hard cases (one of which came this weekend and is going back, because of this bag.) This week, with no good hard cases out yet for my new Mavic Air 2, this came up in my search. I now have one for each drone. This new drone bag reminds me of a Hart Carry one I have had for 25 years, expect it's less than $60 and the Hart was $400 which I regretted for a while, but it has lasted. The nylon fabric is the real thing tough and protective, not the knockoff stuff on look-alike bags, I own some of those too. Everything is double or triple stitched, the zipper ends are reinforced to protect them from giving out. The hardware is all metal. It can be a backpack or a should bag with enough strap for even this 300lb + man to carry it on my back or over my shoulder. This is what the knock-offs are pretending to be. I also have owned many DSLR camera bags that cost more This beats them all heck for quality. All the exterior walls are hard but padded, the main cross dividers that surround the central drone area are rigid with padding. So there is support even if something heavy or many somethings heavy get put on the bag. You could stack several suitcases on this and the drone would be safe. It's water resistant, but not watertight, but comes with a water cover. If you hike in bad weather I would get some scotch guard. One of the main problems with even the best hard cases is they cut holes in foam that fix exactly what they think you own, often from factory kit. This one doesn't assume. It has room for a Drone as big as a Mavic Pro, but fits my Air 2 perfectly. Room for my cell phone shade, my collision lights, filters, 4 batteries, etcThen there are two large pockets inside that would protect your tablet from all but the most crushing weight, where it would be pressed between the inner supports and the front cover. There are large pockets on that outside for STUFF. in my case my folding landing pad. What would I change:1) The luggage strap is very tight and I am not sure it would go over EVERY width of carry on handles. (but you could jury rig with the straps.2) The zippers because they are reinforced ar just a bit narrower than the pockets so kept me from getting my landing pad inside the inside pocket. I would not want to weaken them, but maybe it they wrapped around the end of the pocket so they were strong and fully pocket width.3) The front flap/pocket attaches with only Velcro. Its good velcro but I would prefer a locking strap latch like is used on the top of the backpack strap kit. That's about it.It's not watertight .I wouldn't stand on it. But maybe you could. But if you are not shipping or checking your Drone with the airline when you travel. It's better than any hard case for all other travel needs. And much more convenient.I suspect these cases will outlast several drones. And be with me 25 years from now. It's that well made.

Perfect upgrade from the DJI fly more combo bag!
I love this versatile little bag. My problem was after purchasing the Mavic Pro Fly more combo with that nice leather bag, it was too small for everything that came in the combo. Sure it fit the drone and RC but not much else. I was seeking a better alternative and came across this one from Lykus after much research. This bag can be used as either a shoulder bag or backpack. It has many pockets that can be rearranged to your liking. In mine I comfortably am carrying, the mavic pro, remote controller, 3 batteries, 3 sets of props, car charger, set of ND filters, USB Cables, mSD cards, my 9.7" iPad Pro and I still have room for more. The footprint of the bag is fairly small but I have mine configured with the drone in the center so if dropped nothing will happen. My only one concern is if it's waterproof, I'd say realistically is likely water resistant but they do include a rain cover for the whole bag you could put over the bag if really stuck out in a downpour. Overall I highly recommend because for this price it's a great bag!

Nice drone-specific pack
I bought this backpack for use with my Autel Robotics X-Star Premium drone. That drone is slightly different in size compared to the DJI Phantom series for which this backpack is designed. Given that, I modified the internal padding to fit and this product worked fine for me. A few comments:(a) While the pack is large, the shoulder and waist straps are comfortable and supportive. I had no problem hiking with the pack on.(b) Unless you want to stuff the drone compartment with auxiliary items (a questionable practice), this pack is little space for anything other than your drone, two batteries, your controller and your phone/tablet. The side pockets can hold only small/tiny accessories. It's not possible, for example, to carry a DSLR or full-featured mirrorless camera.(c) Some reviewers have complained about the zippers. I agree they are not exactly "rugged". However, I'm not going to use the pack during cold weather when the zippers would be stiff and hard to use. Used carefully during normal drone-flying weather, I was fine.(d) The pack comes with a rain cover and it's fantastic! In short, this pack is well-priced and gets the job done. If you need more space, you'll unfortunately need to spend significantly more.

I Love this Bag!
This is my 3rd case for my Mavic Pro; not that the others were bad or didn't last, but I wanted the backpack style so I didn't always travel with the hard case. This exceeded my expectations! It's a nice compact size, but it holds ALL my items! Well padded to protect the drone--holds the Mav Pro (WITH the landing gear and gimbal cover--big plus), controller, 3 batteries, charger, and several compartments to hold other things like spare props, filters, my landing pad (nice), spare cables, slot for my iPad Mini, iPad mount - and still room for more! I used to have to take the drone case and a laptop bag for the accessories mentioned above--now everything is in one bag! Oh and I didn't mention - it has straps to convert to a backpack, or laptop bag strap for over the shoulder, plus a handle if you just want to carry it. I would strongly recommend the bag for the convenience and well design.

Excellent offering
Having spent a good while looking at options for drone carrying and storage I settled on Lykus as apparently having none of the drawbacks of other offerings. Good choice. It's big enough to take controller with platform for Ipad Mini without hassle, Ipad itself, spares, cables and even some pages of the manual describing features I'm not used to using. There are pockets I haven't used yet. It takes my drone (Phantom 3 standard) with motor caps (excellent for keeping out dust), well padded and it is easy to fit the drone in. On top of this it's comfortable to wear on one's back and seems well made. Worth all of 5 stars and maybe a 6th for it's less expensive than most of the competition.

Lycus (Phantom ) Back-pack - stop looking and buy this !
Lykus Water Resistant Travel Backpack For DJI Phantom 4 / 4 Pro, Phantom 3, Phantom 2 Models, Carry-on Size, Space for All Accessories I initially chose this back pack after trawling through dozens of similar products , and settled on this model partly on the positive reviews it has already received , but also on the fact it actually looks like a back pack and not a pizza courier's delivery box as some others do !I have only had this product for a couple of weeks but I am really pleased with it . It is lightweight , comfortable , loads of storage over and above the basic drone gear. This back pack has been very thoughtfully designed with lots of pouches and straps to keep your drone safe and secure whilst on the move. There is even a small removable cushion (which can be positioned to suit) to support the camera/gimbal - nice touch. The mid-range price was good too - The only slight improvement would be the addition of a simple chest strap - when fully laden it has a tendency to lean backwards. I have no hesitation in recommending this product Lykus Water Resistant Travel Backpack For DJI Phantom 4 / 4 Pro, Phantom 3, Phantom 2 Models, Carry-on Size, Space for All Accessories

Dronetastic Storage
This is a great bag, wait no this is a fantastic bag. Perfect fit for phantom 4 pro, controller needs to be placed correctly but is exceedingly well protected. Tablet, filters, cables, charger and plenty of room to spare for extra batteries etc. Best of all it is reasonably sized, this means you do not look like an umpa lumpa giving willy wonka a piggy back.

Good value for money
My Phantom 4 Pro+ and it's accessories fit snuggly into this rucksack with plenty of room for all the bits and bobs.Good value for money.Only criticism is that one of the zip tags keeps coming off but easily cured.

Great bag!
Very pleased with this backpack. It's lightweight with plenty of storage, perfect for taking my drone hiking. The build quality is good. Will probably add some of my own mods to better the top pocket storage for my remote. Could probably also do with a chest strap as well as the belt to make it a really good bag for hiking. Have used it in the field once so far and very pleased my Phantom 3 sits nicely in the main compartment with motor caps on. Would definitely recommend.
