The gate motor and it's associated housing unit are both strong and seem durable. This product is from China and the instructions are translated to English in a way that makes it both difficult and frustrating to follow. They supply lag bolts to.sink in the cement as you pour it. This is a very difficult task and I would suggest buying larger lag bolts at Lowes or Home Depot. Also a few pieces of re bar and ties will help here.The most critical part is pouring the concrete and making sure the housing base unit ends up straight, level, and the lag bolts are centered. I actually welded the lower lag bolt ends to the re bar and I welded the re bar to the base unit. I'm not saying you have to go to that extreme, but if the cement dries and it's not straight get ready to break the cement and start over. Just think about what's going to happen before you pour. Frame your work out well before pouring. You can get Quick Crete (sp), but don't get the twenty minute hardening stuff. I made that mistake. There's too much adjusting to do in too short a time. In fact, I'd get regular cement so you can get it just how you want it without having to worry about the cement drying. Call it a day after the cement is poured and the unit is in place.Outside of that, it's a strong motor capable of moving a heavy gate. It's a good buy for the money.Prepare for two people doing the majority of the work. It should take a minimum of 16 work hours to complete at a minimum, but it feels gratifying at the end to know you installed it yourself while the instructions were less than clear.I don't know if you can ask questions of me on this, but I'd be glad to help anybody with advice.

A bit difficult to install but well worth it when installing an electric fence. Highly recommended.

Works with Aleko AC 5700 sliding gate opener and was way cheaper price than anywhere else!

One came to my gate and it works great. BUT Having to return my second remote pin pad. Worked great until the first rain. Both of additional pads these failed. Called tech support and no help. Now ordering my third try. Crossing fingers.

Not happy with it because it didn't fit the opener that it said it would, and the one I had. Kept it too long to get refund but buyer pay real close attention to what it fits and check it before the return time.

Wireless keypad never work!
