Overall we are very pleased with this product. Light quality is fantastic, fan speed setting are great. Due to the mounting of the bracket to the roof which is only a flat bar with 2 points, there is sometimes some movement of the fan which makes a slight ricking sound (this is the reason for loosing 1 star). I feel that having a bracket with 4 points (i.e. like a cross) would solve this problem. This is by no means a deal breaker though. One consideration for new buyers. The model I bought does not have a timer for the fan. This is not a criticism but I would consider this feature on the next one we buy for sure. Saves you manually needing to switch it off especially if you need to walk to your child room.

It was easier to fit than I expected as you can use the existing lighting circuit. It did not work the first switch on and I had to remake the fan's internal connectors which meant disassembly. However, I could test it before I put the blades back on. Well suited to modern celling heights and you really don't notice it is there.

I have this in my bedroom and it is whisper quiet and gives a very good 'breeze' which is exactly what I want. Unfortunately the unit looks very bulky and unattractive but as I need a fan for a low ceiling, there are very few to choose from and function is more important than looks.Easy to install and operate.

I bought 2 of these fans in 2020, they were reasonably easy to install but one of the 2 I could not get to stop vibrating at it’s fastest speed. After 6 months use the LED light in one of the units failed. I contacted Westinghouse who sent me a replacement free of charge. Unfortunately I have had to now ask for 2 more replacement LED light units as they seem to only last about 6 months before failing. I would not therefore recommend this particular fan.

A bit tricky to. install, best with two people to line up the blades.get an electrician if in any doubt about wires.Very quiet compared to our portable fan and others tried on holiday.Good strong dimable light excellent 3 speed fan.very pleased just waiting for better weather.

Instruction book was supplied in many languages and easy enough to understand - step by step installation instructions given - just remember to take the magic eye sensor outside the housing when fitting cowling - delighted and super quiet

It's much uglier than the pictures show. The part nearest the ceiling is a bit like a bucket. Note that it is possible to test it BEFORE you hang it up - definitely worthwhile as it's a 2 hour job and very heavy only to find out it's a dud!
