This heating pad has been a lifesaver for my dog, who recently had his leg amputated. The adjustable temperature settings let me keep him at a comfortable warmth, which has really helped with his recovery and pain relief. The timer function is great for safety, and the chew-resistant cord gives me peace of mind. It’s also waterproof and easy to clean, which is a huge plus. At 28x20 inches, it’s the perfect size for him to stretch out and stay cozy. I can’t recommend this enough—this has truly made a difference in keeping him comfortable after surgery!

Made a horrible mistake buying this. . . My 2 cats now do not care that I exist and they just lounge on it all day.Quality 5/5 functions 5/5 Heat 5/5I've only had it running for 2 days but I've tried every heat setting and the auto timer everything works great, my 2 cats are always seeking Window seals, the top of the dryer, or in front of the TV and on laptops for warmth away from the A/C's now they lounge comfortably on this heating pad in their beds in the middle of the living room, thankfully the heating pad looks pretty good.Auto shutoff works perfectly, the pad never gets to hot to the touch even when I put my hand under their beds sitting directly on the heat pad cover it's a comfortable level even on level 5Cable length is decent, I like that the remote is half way on the cord so it can be away from the wall, and away from the bed if needed, Cable seems to have good protection.With the zipper cover I expect it to be really easy to clean and replace the cover back on.Overall my cats and I give this 5 stars.

I might need one of these heating pads for myself! The ones made for humans always break apart and are made cheaply, but the cord on this one is thick, reinforced all throughout, even where it attaches to the pad! The timer on it is AMAZING! Most of them turn off after two hours. I have a chihuaha mix that gets freezing cold in the winter and I usually leave a heating pad out for him while at work but it shuts off after just a couple hours so by the time im home, hes cold again. So this one I can leave on and it will stay warm for him!The temperature controls are great, it gets comfortably toasty.The removable cover is super handy, love that its a zipper rather than the usual buttons that always fail.Very solid heating pad, not flimsy like other ones ive had.I think my extra large dog needs one now too!Very impressed and super happy with this.

My pup enjoys this! I was worried it would be too hot for her since she’s fluffy but the heat is low and comforting for my dogGood display on remote and like that the cord is pretty thick/sturdy

***UPDATE11/8/23: Less than 4 weeks of use and the heating pad has started giving the “ERR” message and shutting off. I contacted seller and asked to help troubleshoot, nothing can be done to fix however seller was very responsive and offered to send a replacement.***I decided to buy another unit since my cats loved the first one so much. Bought 2nd unit end of Nov and by mid Jan it also stopped working with same “ERR” message. Returned and will not purchase again. My cats are sad :(I live in Colorado. Winters can be brutal. I figured I’d buy a pet heating pad for my “old man” 12 y/o orange tabby cat who lives for the summertime (same). He’s got 17lbs of “insulation” on him but can’t wait to lay outside in the sun on a 90 degree day.To my surprise when I opened this up it was my skinny 8lb lap-loving 5 y/o boy who laid claim to it and big-chonker wanted nothing to do with it.Fast-forward a week and these two (who have never been close) are playing battle Royale to see who gets to lie on the heating pad. You probably see in the picture large tufts of hair strewn about.Fast forward another week or two and they have finally decided it’s OK to share the heating pad. It’s only taken 5 whole years for them to agree on anything let alone share personal space. Brings a tear to my eye. This might be the thing that makes them finally accept each other as brothers.Besides bringing pet families together my thoughts on the product…Initially I put it on heat setting 3 which didn’t feel very warm to me. I kicked it up to the highest setting, 6, and still doesn’t feel very toasty to the touch (it’s supposed to be 113 degrees). I was considering returning it and just using a regular human heating pad but as you can see from the picture it will be impossible to remove this from my cats’ life. They nap on it every day and sometimes sleep on it overnight, eschewing a warm bed with the humans upstairs. So on the plus side I don’t need to worry about it being too hot to harm them. The cover it came with is lovely and soft and the cats love it but I’m a clean freak and decided to cover it in a separate blanket that I can wash more frequently. I like that the cord is wrapped for safety so biters can’t chew through it. The timer has incremental settings 2hrs to 24hrs and it counts down what’s left so you know when you need to reset it. My boys are spoiled so it’s been on 24-7 since they started using it. It’s a keeper! Highly recommend.

I left my initial review below but I wanted to update this. It does take a bit of time to heat up but once it does, I think it's very cozy. She hasn't left it yet! I placed it on top of her dog bed - easy transition to get her to lay down on it. I kept it on L3 first thing in the morning and after about an hour, I dropped it to L2 which is barely warm to the touch. But I have 4 higher levels I can still use. I'll probably stick with L2 or 3 for indoors. My guess is our house is in the low 60's in the morning. We don't put the heat on since by midday it's much warmer. I'm fine but Blanca has kidney disease and I want to keep her comfortable all the time. I did not test this outside so sorry, can't help you there. I think the product is very good for what I need. Thank you.Original review - Well, I do like the feel of it, Blanca seems to like to sit on it but this is for indoor use and I have it on the highest setting! It doesn't feel all that warm to me! It certainly would not work to keep an animal warm OUTSIDE! According to the instructions, it's working correctly.
