Great value! Quality similar to Northern Quilt tissue cubes!
I was initially a bit skeptical about this treeless tissue paper, but after using it frequently for awhile now, find myself very satisfied with its quality, size and value! The texture is very similar to that of Northern Quilt cubes, maybe just a tiny but rougher, and there is no smell at all. The sheets seem a very slight bit smaller in size than Northern Quilts, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the tissue.Love that the tissue is sourced from bamboo instead of trees, but would definitely like to know more about other environmental factors of the raw material extraction and manufacturing process of this tissue, such as the chemical process used to convert bamboo into tissue. How much ecotoxicity is involved? What sort of waste effluents are generated and how are they disposed of? What is the energy and water comsumption of these processes as compared to that of manufacturing regular tissue?Overall, satisfied with the quality and value of this product, but would really like to know how it justifies its environmental claims.

Needs improvement
I love the idea of using bamboo and sugar cane to make this facial tissue. It was a soft tissue. But the box they are in is not very environmentally friendly. The outside has a coating on it that reminds me of a UV gloss coating or other heavy duty gloss coating. Water will actually run off of it. So the box is somewhat waterproof. I cannot find anything about the container being from recycled paper, etc. So it kind of cancels out the environmentally friendly tissue part for me. Also these tissues are smaller than normal facial tissues. A Puffs tissue measures 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" and the Green2 facial tissue measures 7 3/4" x 7 1/2". I have allergies and go through tissues like crazy and I do not like this smaller tissue. It does make a difference. I will pursue other manufacturers of the bamboo and sugar cane facial tissue that hopefully have larger tissues and more environmentally friendly boxes.

They're just okay.
These are smaller than normal tissues and they tear *very* easily. I bought them for the tree-free, BPA-free features, but I'm not happy about the quality. I'm also not happy that I had to buy a whole case of them just to try them out. They need severe improvement if the company wants to continue charging such high prices for their paper products. I will say that they are much softer than the recycled tissues, so that's good. I just wish they didn't fall apart so quickly (seriously, it's just one wipe of my tears and there are holes in the tissue).Size comparison: recycled tissue is 8" x 9" and the tree-free tissue is roughly 7.5" x 7.5".

Not soft!
I've tried 2 brands of bamboo tissues and both are about same softness (which is, they're not).Oddly the toilet paper is softer. These are fine for occasional use or use on non-sensitive areas, but if you have a cold get something softer.

Too small and weak to be called a “tissue”.
I always look for environmentally responsible products made by ethical companies. I’ve used Seventh Gen and Marcal, and I just wanted to see if I’d like this one, but the tissues are way too small in size and too thin to be used for even the smallest sneeze or blot even one tear! It immediately saturates and falls apart. I now automatically pull out 2 or even 3 tissues at a time, which still makes for an inferior tissue! I can’t think of any use for this tissue!

Love these well made tissues
I have been using this brand and type for almost a year now and I love the flat boxes as well as the tissues inside. They are 2 ply and hold up well but are a little thinner/rougher than the top of the line name brands. The everyday versions of the name brands is equal to these tissues. Just knowing I'm using a more sustainable resource tips the tide on this brand.

That's not to say that the product disappointed in any way
I wanted to purchase recycled paper and also have a septic system so the ply # also mattered. The product is what I expected which is not the fluffy, scented paper that you get in other products. That's not to say that the product disappointed in any way. Rather it met expectations.

OK, but a a bit small.
It's not easy to find affordable tissues made of recycled or eco-friendly material. These were not expensive and are sufficiently strong and soft. They are slightly undersized which is why I rated them "average." If we really need to blow our noses, we need to use 2 tissues.
