I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. I wanted to add under cabinet lighting without having to deal with electric and wires. I figured since almost all homes have outlets set above your stove so that you can have a microwave I could probably use the outlet for my lights. I can not stress this enough I am not one to ever want to deal with running wires and dealing with electrical work. I knew I had to have a dimmer but wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to access the switch as it was going to be above the stove in upper cabinets. I came across this set up and all my problems were solved.... so I hoped. My biggest worry had nothing to do with this set or even seller as I bought 2 sets earlier by 2 completely different sellers and each one had the same issue, the remote strength wasn’t strong enough and made the receiver have to be somewhat hanging out in the open to be used. My concern was that I was going to make a hole in my cabinets underneath and a small hole to run the lights down my cabinets from the top upper where the outlet was, I was worried that the strength of the receiver wouldn’t be enough and I’d have either hang the receiver out of the cabinet for the remote to actually pick it up or somehow get the reliever down under the cabinets.The good news was the remote was strong enough to reach the receiver and everything turned out better than I had hoped. The set up was super easy and I mean super. I simply put two small holes with my drill into the cabinets, one from below the cabinets so I could run the lights and the 2nd was drilled inside the cabinet into the side of the upper to allow the lights to be plugged into the outlet for the microwave above the stove. None of the holes can be seen. The lights easily stuck nicely to the under cabinets and I actually ran it all the way across our microwave/exhaust to add extra lighting. I then used a 3M Velcro tape hanging strip and placed one on the remote and the other on the wall where I wanted it. I placed the remote beside a outlet that allows us to plug a phone into it that then plays over the installed speakers in our kitchen (something the builder does). It literally looks super professional and it works amazing, it’s a perfect set up. The automatic setting is 100% which is great for cooking and provides enough light that you don’t have to use your overhead lights. I actually prefer to set it to 25% and dim down 2, then leave them on all night as a nightlight for the kitchen. These light shows have added functionality and ambience. When I first bought these there weren’t a lot of reviews but I a, glad I took a chance and that they worked out. I love the look of the remote on the wall, it makes it easy but also makes it look like a professional install even though my klutzy self actually just used some tape and plugged them in. 5 stars ⭐️

I bought this for my vanity mirror because it Says cut-able and linkable. I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find any corner connectors that are 8mm with 3 pins. I’ve purchased two different kinds of connectors and neither are right for it. So now I have pieces of an led strip that doesn’t even work. Go with a different strip light, one that you can easily find and purchase connectors for.

First of all remote control didn’t work, instruction inside didn’t match the product , no worries it is easy enough to figure out. After 5 minutes of operation I noticed a couple led have orange lights , not sure if the rest will turn into orange .shut the system down waited until next day the problem still exist. I think I got a defected system , first not forming remote then the leds. Now I have to remove them which will damage my painting and return ;( just unnecessary work , couldn’t be more disappointed

Product works ok for a while BUT within a year, the remote sensor failed twice. I was issued a replacement the first time, after 6 months under the year warranty. The second time, still under the year warranty (which technically should have started over because it was a new part) the seller offered me $5 to go fund a replacement from another store!!! Who does that?So if you want to ruin the paint around your ceiling by putting up these lights, only for them to fail and have to be removed, then by all means buy them 🙄. I left another review after they helped the first time that I wish I could lower.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  In the video I showed first how doll is shot with studio light and then with DIY soft box I made myself using these strip lights. I used both the strip lights which came along. Studio light I bought for $100 in 4 months started blinking and some of the points don't light up anymore. No idea what quality was that. This strip light creates cold white light. I think it is best to use as this was intended which means to brighten up shelves etc. For a pro studio light like aputure 120d it doesn't compete with. I watched a video on YouTube where guy was making a aputure DIY soft box using a pan and these lights. So I also tried with steel round pan and these ones. I don't have aputure 120d yet, so can't say what is the difference. But I have simple soft box from adorama with one huge lamp. This is almost like that one. The dimming works well. But mostly I will be using %100 brightness.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These lights are great! I bought two strips and put them up near the ceiling in my room. I originally got them to add light to a dim corner where my sewing table is, and set on white light they work great for that. I didn’t plan on how much I would like the other colors for watching tv in my room, they give just enough light without distracting from the tv. I didn’t want to look at the individual lights so I installed a small piece of wood trim to the wall and affixed the light strip to the top of it. I painted the wood trim to match the walls so it is basically invisible during the day. When the lights are on the light is directed upwards and reflects off of the ceiling which looks really nice. The lights work really well. The remote is cheap and isn’t that amazing but it gets the job done. I’m really happy with my purchase and I recommend these lights.

No available connecting hardware. It can be cut, but they don't offer any way to join pieces together. I have requested additional info but they don't respond. I will throw this order away and find a solution at a brick and mortar store.
