At first I thought it wasn't that bright...
It's a much warmer light than the Ferry Morse grow lights. I did a direct comparison by starting several different lettuce varieties using the Kratky method. Same water volume and the same nutrients in each tub. The only difference was the lights. I used two FM lights at about 12 inches above the tub, and this light at the same level. I didn't use any reflectors or foil except for the reflectors mounted on the FM lights. After about two weeks the difference was clear. The LED Bozily light is the clear winner. The lettuce under the dual FM grow lights grew leggy and didn't have a lot of leaf production. The lettuce under the Bozily light grew stocky and started forming actual heads earlier. I have already harvested some of the outer leaves ( yum) but the difference in growth is pretty clear. I already set up a light over the leggier lettuce and in 2-3 days it's already starting to form heads as it should. The set up is in my dining room with a minimum temp of 70 degrees and the lights are on a 12 hour timed cycle. My only reason this light gets 4 stars and not 5 is the light throw is not very large. I was hoping to grow two tubs under one light but the intensity needed for growth is not there at a further distance. I am using the 25 in x 17 in black and yellow tubs. One light covers one bin at about 12-14 inches high.

Super Bright and extra-long length PERFECT for a shelf LED light!
If you’re like me winter sucks for our poor plant babies who rely on us for love and proper care! Instead of letting them suffer and stunting their growth over the reduced lighting during the day I made a decision to get a new LED light that was a full-spectrum light that was WHITE. I’ve had great experience with Burple lights, but it is super harsh on the eyes and quite honestly my neighbors probably thought I was growing “funny tobacco.”Anyway, I decided to repurpose a shelf I had that I bought from Costco, but the problem was finding the a light that was long enough to cover most or all of the shelf. People will say the fluorescent tube lights are best, but I beg to differ. They’re drastically inefficient, use a ton of energy, and are only effective for a certain amount of hours (they lose effectiveness after a few months, many years before the bulb actually dies). I then looked into LED fluorescent tube lights, but eh, they’re still incredibly bulky and didn’t fit nicely under the shelf.I came across this on Amazon, and must say it’s one of my best purchases! Fits perfectly below my top shelf and subsequent shelves, very easy to mount, isn’t bulky and is SUPER lightweight! It’s a warm white and so far my plants are loving it. Super-efficient and most important it doesn’t have a fan so there’s not an annoying humming noise. Way easier on the eyes verses burple lights and the temperature of the light is at most "warm" to the touch, nothing that would burn your hand or give off a ton of heat.My advice is connect it to a wemo like I do and it works great as an automated system. Just remember to water your plants often, I didn’t know this but I guess the more intense light they get, the more energy they use, and the more water they drink. Don’t make the mistake I did!Overall, A+, efficient, doesn’t suck up a lot of energy, size is perfect, lightweight, very slim fitment!

Decent Grow Light, Plants are Doing Well
***Update: Purchased nearly two years ago. Product still working well for its intended purpose. While not in use non stop, we do use it regularly for growing greens and starting our seedlings with very good results. No problems to date.Bought this for seed starting and microgreens. Currently using on my seedlings which were started under LED shop lights. This unit is light in weight and has a better color spectrum than the shop lights. My plants have improved color after just 24 hours of use. The light isn't too hot, good thing, but the coverage isn't as broad as I had hoped. It will serve well enough for microgreens or a few seed start six packs but the light intensity drops significantly near the outer edges of the light. We surrounded the growing area with a silver mylar blanket for better light intensity near the perimeter which seems to have worked well enough. Far better than the tube style goose neck lights with the clip on base but not as good as a quantum board LED.

They do the job
I had some lettuce plants heading into the winter that I brought in to an East facing window. They were surviving, but not thriving, and little by little the leaves were falling off. I bought one of these to see how it would work, and the plants perked right up; so well that I bought a second. It's mid February now and we're eating lettuce. My primary use though will be to start seeds in the spring rather than out in the potting shed on a heating mat. With two of them I can start two trays of seeds that need an early start such as tomatoes, and peppers.

Get this light!
I'm in northern Wisconsin, so winter is brutal on houseplants. I first got a couple of the pink/purple lights because they were all the rage that year, and then added these because what I had wasn't enough. I added these lights over the shelves, so this light is hanging next to a pink and purple sun lamp. Within a couple weeks all the plants were reaching away from the pink and purple lights and toward this light. My jade plant has never been so happy, it has so many leaves and looks very healthy. My kalanchoe is doing great, it's huge and flowers all winter. I'm here today to buy a couple more. I have big windowsills with plants on them, I'm adding these lights at the tops of the windows. It's nice for sun deprived humans in winter too. The light color is much like sun so hung above a window it makes it feel like a sunny day.
