Product came in a plastic wrapper, sealed with tape in a plain white box. I don’t smoke cigarettes, but I occasionally enjoying a cigar. I was looking for something to put the cigar butts into, where they could hang out until garbage day. This seems like it would be a great addition to my collection. Thanks to the size, I’ll definitely hold more than one if I have some friends over, or enjoy more than one cigar within the week.I placed a $100 bill down next to it, sorry I had nothing smaller - no change, to compare the size. I wasn’t sure how big or small this thing would be as I saw nothing to compare it to in a photo. I hope it helps to compare.As an additional test, I added a Robusto cigar and it seems to balance nicely either with the cigar resting against the lid, or just resting in the cigarette holder. Well this is not my intended use, it’s a great thing to know I have an additional option to use this in that way, if I wanted to. I can’t yet comment on smell containment, But I will be sure to update my review if anything proves to be different from what they are claiming on this product. So far, I am happy overall with my purchase. One thing I also would like to note though, the lid on the inside portion seems to be scratched. I’m not sure why. However, can’t beat the price, and since it’s going to be used to put ashes in to, I’m not really going to make a big deal about it. It would be much more of a hassle to try and exchange it, rather than keep it and use it to put trash in, essentially. Whether you want to hold cigars like me, cigarettes, or small bits of garbage, this thing won’t disappoint. Plus it’s separates for easy cleaning! It’s a win in my book.

love the look, i checked out several variations and this is the one i like best, i just got it today and have been using it for a few hours so i may update this later if needed, the top that pulls off is REALLY hard to pull off, i hope in time it'll loosen a bit, feels like im going to fling ashes all over, i use this for joints and for me it doesn't stay on the little holder which is actually the main reason i got this, i thought it slide open but it flips giving it a bit of an angle so the joint just slides right into the ashtray, i had a friend smoke his cigs and try it but same thing happened. im gonna take sandpaper to that and the top lid to see if i can make the lid go on and off easier and the holder to see if it'll not slide so easy or put hot glue around the top somewhere to help hold whatever i put there. Even with these issues because i think they can be solved easily i gave it 4 stars, 1 lacking simply because of the holder as a personal reason on why i got it.

It is very sturdy. I needed something that would contain the smell that normal ashtrays leave in the room. I have been told that that smell had been eliminated. If you have every walked in a room that has a normal ashtray in it that has been used and emptied it does leave a ashtray smell. I will order again.

This is a great ashtray. I love that it has the pedestal base - which is practical but also makes it look nicer. I love that it hides the ashes or little debris and the lid has a slot to hold what you are smoking and it sits on a perfect angle so it can self-ash. When not using the lid swivels. It is also the perfect size - its not too large or clunky or too small, easy carrying size so you can bring it with you if you move rooms while smoking. I don't leave reviews often but with how inexpensive this was I was really surprised at how nice it was. I plan to get a few more.

This is the best thing to happen to ashtrays since the original spin ashtrays and original silent butlers.Ashtray is well-balanced, heavy and the best part, the top is removable for easy cleaning or my personal preference, inserting a 3.25 inch round melamine ashtray (see: ASIN: B072KP977S), for even easier cleaning.Like it so much, ordered another one.

Love this little ashtray. It looks nice and puts out your cigarettes no matter how many u have in there. Considering getting more.

This compact sized ashtray is PERFECT. I love it has a lid to close to contain the smoke when turning off a butt. Also, i like it has a cigarette holder to keep the cigarette from rolling off onto any surface. This size is compact but can hold quite alot of butts & ash.
