First off, my husband absolutely loves it. As a minimalistic type of guy, he has about one or two guards that he likes and sticks to. He does wish that there were some in-between sizes, though. But that’s just his personal beard-length preference.For me, using it on the back of his neck is a little annoying. The trimmer is a little clunky and awkward for me to hold. It also doesn’t always get all the little hairs and sometimes it feels like it’s clogged or something. Honestly, he may just need to clean it or something.Overall, he thoroughly enjoys it and has figured out how to make it work for him. We’ve had it for about 8 months and don’t have any issues with the battery or anything mechanical with the trimmer itself.

I feel the need to give a huge shoutout to this hair and beard trimmer...About 2 years ago, I decided to start cutting my own hair. Quite honestly, I got tired of going to the barber and paying $15-20 a shot and more often than not, walking out unhappy...I am and can be picky as hell when it comes to my appearance. Probably because I’m pretty OCD with things...So, I jumped on Amazon and decided to look for a clipper set that had to meet criteria. Preferably cordless, hopefully good battery, not junk, not bulky as hell, and MOST importantly; it HAD to offer a range of guards for various lengths in case I wanted to experiment(it’s just hair! It grows back!).So the search was on and I ended up stumbling on this beard and hair trimmer set. It looked to have literally everything I was looking for! Awesome!!Well, fast forward to now, and usually every couple weeks I’m now in my bathroom exploring the possibilities of hair and what I can do with it while NOT looking like an idiot lol... and thanks to this set by Hatteker, seriously, the possibilities are pretty damn open!I’ve personally always loved the fade look. It’s artistic. And this set allows me to do my own fades easily!! And best of all, I’ve gotten the technique down over time and now I do a better job on myself than pretty much any barber I’ve been to! Imagine that!I won’t lie and say it happened overnight, though. No, it seriously took me MONTHS to actually get it down to a point where I was actually happy with it. But, it’s hair! It grows back! So I still experiment and have been enjoying that process! I like seeing myself get better over time!The trimmer itself is lightweight, super easy to hold, quiet, and the battery LASTS. If I’m doing a full blown cut(pics), the battery lasts me 2 uses. If I’m just doing touch ups, the battery will drop 20 maybe 30% at most. It also comes with a wide range of guards essentially making fades a breeze to do once you get the hang of it! I start from whatever highest length I’m using and work my way down to the lowest length I’m using. The trimmer itself also has a 2.5mm adjustable dial which is AWESOME for blending!! Seriously, SUPER underrated feature every trimmer should have!! I love it!! The guards range from skin fade all the way to 24mm. PLENTY of range to explore and have fun with! It also comes with an extra battery, trimmer brush, oil and bag. Everything you need to do a GREAT cut!Seriously, I hope this company NEVER stops making THIS trimmer set! It’s absolute PERFECTION for personal home hair and facial hair maintenance! And for the price, it’s absolutely UNBEATABLE!I included some pics for reference just to give you an idea of what’s possible with this trimmer. The before and after is using this trimmer set, an Andis gold foil shaver for neck and back of neck stubble(HIGHLY RECOMMEND), and a straight razor for hair and beard lineup. I’d say it’s a pretty damn good combo for a great cut! And now... I don’t even think about the barber chair anymore... not to hate on barbers at all because I’m sure there are some badass barbers out there. But I’ve just come to a point where I prefer to do my own hair. Because I ALWAYS have the thought in the back on my mind that “if I f*** this up, it’s on ME, so don’t f*** this up!” Lol. I take my time and have some fun with the process. It generally takes me a little over an hour once I know exactly what I’m going to do with the hair and beard. Have fun! It’s just hair!

Replaced my dying Wahl clipper with this Hatteker. Love it! Quiet, loooonnngggg battery life, small trimmer attachments are handy. I like the adjustable cut depth, allows one to dial in a custom cut with or without one of the guards clipped on. Speaking of guards, the attachment method is super easy, used to have to fight with my Wahl and pulled the cutter head completely off the Wahl more that once trying to get the Wahl's guards off. I've not tried all the options on the market, but now that I've used this Hatteker for a couple of months, I have no interest in trying anything else. Great value too!

Overall a solid machine that works well to cut your hair and trim your beard. Good battery life, easy to hold, easy to clean, and neither too heavy nor too light. My only wish was that the full size trimmer would give you a close shave, it goes to 0.5 mm but somehow doesn't truly feel it get close enough to shave your head with. The newer model, RFC 69104, comes with an attachable full size t-blade to shave closer (0.2 mm) which I wish this model came with. Other than that its perfect and a great value for the price.

Ive been using this for about a month trimming my beard and it just went down to 90% battery. You could take this on vacation without the charger it lasts so long. Also it trims very quickly.

These are phenomenal clippers but don’t let them fool you, you absolutely can get cut from these and it’s HURTTTTTTSSSS haha. Definitely will do the job from manscaping - cutting hair!

So far this is great, but I've only used it to trim my beard & a month isn't enough time to rate battery life (my last cordless trimmer recharged 27 yrs before dying, it was a Whal).

The battery lasts forever, it’s super easy to use and hold. I absolutely love this little thing. I just looked up a tutorial on YouTube for how to do military hair cuts and now my fiancé and I save $30 each time he needs a haircut. If you’re contemplating then just do it because it is so worth it
