I have always been a fan of Guatemala Antigua and this one does not disappoint. As always, Smokin Beans delivered a high grade bean. This coffee tastes great medium but also does well in the darker roasts.

I was wrong in when this coffee was harvested as I thought it was from March of 2022. They contacted me and said it was harvested in the Fall of 2022. I am good with that and wanted to correct a previous rating.

Actually, these Guats came from SmokinBeans in Georgia. Not from AZN warehouse. Current date codes. Look & smell of beans seems same to me as direct from Smokin. Have ordered both ways; from AZN and from SmokinBeans. I use these Guatemala beans in my own blend. 1/3rd each Ethopia, Guatemala, & Columbia. I've been roasting beans for 20 years, I don't usually go out of my way to write a review, but I think it's worth it for this bean. In my opinion, it's got exceptional flavor and is well worth the extra cost. I bought this type of bean from Sweet Maria's a couple of years ago and thought the same thing at the time. I kept looking for more of it, but it didn't seem available on there (or I just didn't check at the right time). When I saw it available on Amazon, I jumped at the chance to get 5 pounds.

These produced a nice flavor.

It was my first go around at roasting my own dark roast. I must say it is still better than anything I can buy at the store and I’m sure this will get better as my technique does also. Nothing bad to say about it. Going to try a little lighter roast next.

I love to read about very useful roasting coffee beans on the back of invoice. Also the expiration date shows on the coffee bags unlike other sellers that I had bad experienced with old coffee beans. Great info and excellent coffee taste make my happy mornings!!!

Really flavorful when roasted a brewed properly.
