A bit clunky
These are great quality and very sharp and I've had them now for a while and they show no signs of dullness whatsoever. They are however oddly proportioned to the point where me (and others who have used them in our kitchen) get a very painful nip from them on the fleshy part of the thumb from when the points on the back of each handle meet upon closure of the scissors. Now it has happened to me I hold them a little differently and they are fine but a little uncomfortable to use nonetheless.

single piece through kitchen shears, easy to clean and maintain, sharp and sturdy
I bought these as I am fed up of the main brand name scissors and shears that have plastic handles and are not full tang, and therefore have a tendency to break.I saw the reviews for this and thought I would give it a good as it is not expensive. These are 2x single pice of carbon stainless steel with a rivet fastening in the middle. To those of you who do not really do maintenance or sharpening this means that you can tighten the scissors over time as they become misaligned or shorter through use and sharpening. The full single piece through means that the force is evenly distributed and also that there is no large weak connection point ( some scissors may be stainless steel throughout but they might have separate pieces for the handles with a connection point - this is a cheaper way to manufacture bit means there is a weak point and this weak point is at a stress point when you apply the shearing force so means your scissors are more likely to need constant realignment and are more likely to break)So far, so good. The handles are above size however if you have larger hands these are not for you.If you require a rubberised grip, say you are using these constantly day in day out for cutting something slippery - I would recommend using a little moulded silicon paste like Sugru, as the handles are smooth, which is fine for normal home kitchen use, but for commercial use I would recommend the silicone rubber method. The blades are easy to maintain however there is no space at the end of the blade so sharpening the last few milometers ( by last I mean where the blades cross over, not the tips).I have not sharpened mine yet, so cannot comment on how they Burr or how easy it is to bring back the edge, but so far they are sharp enough and strong enough for me.

Ticks all the boxes
Bought a pair of these a while ago for my own use in my garage/workshop. Sturdy, sharp and great to use. My wife tried them out one day and promptly demanded that I get her a pair for use in the house, as her hands are not as nimble as they once were, so a second pair of these scissors proved ideal for her too.

Best scissors so far
After buying scissors in the past that good to start with, it’s usually the handles that give up first. So this time,I thought I pay that bit extra this time. Glad I did. Really solid, no separate handle, the most sharpest domestic scissors I’ve ever used. Haven’t at to take them apart yet to sharpen, so can’t comment about that. These should last a lot of years, really glad I bought them.

Solid pair of scissors
Sturdy, feel solid and very sharp. Seems like they’ll last a lot longer and more heavy duty than plastic kitchen scissors hence the purchase. Had for approx 12 months now and used almost daily, dishwashed almost daily and they’re rust free still! As they are plastic free (a major selling point for me) they may not be as comfortable or easy to hold for some people. For me, the longevity outweighs the fact it has no silicone or plastic comfort grips. Worth the money and we’re very happy!
