Wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this book as opposed to the original "The Crow" but I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a WWII interest or an interest in the original novel or film.

Thank you James O'Barr
The Crow has always been a special book for me, and despite many spin offs, one good movie (and three crappy ones), very few people get it right. Nobody does the Crow like O'Barr and this book is both vintage Crow and something totally different. Like the original, its sad, sweet and bleak. It takes place during WWII in a Nazi concentration camp. If you like the Crow, you must read this. I hope O'Barr continues to write more Crow stories.

It's nice to have a new Crow story but...
Not the best Crow story. The original is still the best read and I will recommend that over this book. The story is short, with little background or build up. The art is inconsistent, and I don't like that it's in color vs black, white, and greys.

There ain't no coming back! Ok there is...
Good spin on the classic crow story. If you love the original than you will appreciate this take. Plus it has Nazis. So there's that

The Crow...
Bought by son on gift card. He seems to like it very much. I really hate the word requirement on these reviews.

As always, O'Barr delivers
I own every crow graphic novel, and I have to say i like this a lot. I prefered it to Curare. Fans of the crow will relish the new take on this story, set in a 1945 nazi concentration camp. This is the most violent of the novel collection however, but I'd recommend it to any crow and comic fan a like.

don't get it on kindle
The story itself is great. It gets on my nerves when reviews are of the package rather than the thing itself, if that makes sense, but I want to warn everybody about the kindle edition! I have the kindle paperwhite and this is near impossible to read on it. I have other comics on kindle and they are fine to read but this is just not good.
